I don't even know anymore tbh. I'll get going later on a tally of everyone's who's died or survived some sort of kill.

It seems Avalanche's previous survival was one time thing? I'm wondering what to make of the fact that he survived a kill from the Brotherhood, but not from the Sentinels.

If we're looking for possible roles, the sudden "disappearance" in the description made me think of Nightcrawler. Not sure if Nightcrawler disappears before a lynch occurs and it goes to the next person or in the way it was described. Not ruling out other possibilities, but just putting this one forward.

(Aaaand I will likely not be posting much tonight, as I had a grand total of 0 sleep last night. Sooo, gonna catch up on that.)

Welcome back iyag Elochin and Bullzeye. Hopefully you can share some insights with us.

I'm quite tired as well. So more likely than not, I'm probably going to turn in fairly soon too. Tomorrow is a day for me to get some thoughts organized.

Linki: I'd honestly completely forgotten about the civ role that was immune to lynches. But who else could possibly fit that role?

You can't seriously think that Professor X is being completely serious with posts like these:
If you stare into the Sun, it will burn out your eyes. Except Cyclops. He would probably be fine.
Why did you lynch Sunfire? That was a bonehead move.
X-Men? More like Hex Men! It's like you all are cursed!
All of your assumptions are wrong. Vote the opposite of what your instincts tell you, and good results will follow.
I had been considering the possibility that maybe he'd been recruited by apocalypse, but now looking back the time I remembered where Professor X was giving kind grandfatherly advice to us, never actually happened. There was only one message where he gave any advice on who to lynch and that was Sunfire.

Why be so vague and keep us guessing at what his messages really mean? He can tell us anything he wants and we don't know which sock the message is coming from. Why not just be forthright? It doesn't make sense to me.

Like Bullz, I haven't been keeping up since I died. I never expected to come back, honestly. But, I am not sure Professor X knew what he was talking about. Meaning, I am not sure he was correct in the suspicions that he had. However, if where you were looking is not getting us anywhere, I agree that it doesn't hurt to look elsewhere. Of course you all know I am a busy woman, but I will try to spend a lot of today catching up. But, if there is anything that stands out in your minds that you'd like to share with me, please do :)

Yeah, me either. I probably won't be able to fully catch up, I died over 20 pages ago and even with all the free time I now I have I just don't have the attention span to get through that in one sitting.

I agree with this line of thinking actually. If my instincts are letting me down I think it's best to pay them less attention and put more thought into things. I think that's all Professor X was trying to tell us. Looking at the lynch record he kinda has a point.

I'm actually perfectly fine with looking somewhere else today. So far, what we've been doing clearly isn't working. So maybe going in a different direction and further examining people we haven't looked at too much would be a good place to go.

Okay, I have read a LOT and it is a lot to process. I didn't want to do a lot of quoting, b/c it would be too much. I thought I would just give a short summary.

I am wondering why Havok and White Queen are still around? They both scream baddie to me. No one seems to trust Havok at all and White Queen stands by Havok like a loyal dog. I understand the theory that she is Apoc. but look at all the other lynches where no one died. She is not the only candidate for Apoc. I am not getting good feelings from Vision either.

havok aint too sure about. ive been goin back n forth w/ him i cant tell if hes a bad guy or not. sometimes he makes sense and then sometimes im just not sure.

mikhail rasputin has been givin me the heebee jeebees lately. i dont wanna do a lot of quoting either cuz i h8 doin quotes but if u read thru from day 5.2 onward i really think mikhail sounds like a bad guy whos been pullin all the strings. after day 5.2 which was the sunfire lynch ol raspy said he knew who basically the whole bad guy team was but its day 8 and he hasnt led a lynch against any of the brotherhood so it sounds 2 me like hes talkin outta his ass!

ill probs b votin for mikhail 2day but anyways thats just my humble opinion from reading all his posts

I'd like to know why everyone is so sure that WQ is Apoc. I mean, so many others have escaped lynches. And, of course WQ hasn't denied it. She would rather appear as Apoc than a baddie. Us thinking she is Apoc is good for her.

I don't see what you see with Mikhail, but I will read him again from 5.2 on. I know before that (5.2) he seemed civ to me but I was unaware he said he knew who all the baddie team was.

@Mikhail, if you said this, who are they?

She's escaped a lynch and at one point implied that she'd be able to survive a night kill too. On top of that, there was one point where she got on I think longshot or Hawkeye (one of the shooty guys) about having knowledge about a kill and thinking it was from apocalypse, saying she thought they had knowledge of the fact based on role blocking a player they thought was apocalypse, when the main suspect for apocalypse was her. It turned out to be a big misunderstanding on the shooty guy'a side.
In any case that sorta confirmed the White Queenpocalypse theory for me at least.

Just my two cents on Professor X, but perhaps the "Sunfire" advice wasn't necessarily off the mark - he did warn us about LOOKING at the Sun (not about the Sun itself), perhaps trying to veer us away from lynching Sunfire. But then again, that kinda has the effect of "Don't look out that window right now!" (try that on a group of kids and count the ones who follow directions ;) )

So I wouldn't necessarily discount what he's saying based on that, or say that he's a baddie in disguise, but I definitely agree that I would like some clearer instructions from fearless leader X. At least this advice about forgetting assumptions is less of a put-down than saying we're all cursed, or that we're boneheads

This was my theory earlier, and tbh, I'm still partially-convinced it was true. Especially considering Sunfire's flip, and the 'information' Professor X passed on before and after his lynch.
Polaris wrote:Just a theory on Professor X. Maybe he had found Sunfire and recruited him. He wanted to recruit Cyclops next, and so he wanted no one to vote for Sunfire except for Cyclops (hence the info he passed on). A bit of a stretch, but after Sunfire's flip it seems slightly possible.
@White Queen. I was only being half-serious on that comment. And I was trying to imply Epi was just posting generic comments rather than someone else posing as Prof X.

I'm also convinced that Shadowcat is civvie, and that's the only player I trust is good right now. I don't think even Professor X could sway my opinion there.

Why The Vision? That's probably the player I trust most in the game. :/

Why would a civvie be fucking with us?
Maybe he's dead and he's not actually saying this?

Also, Elo and Bullz, what do you think of Deadpool? I've been increasingly thinking he's bad since yesterday.

I will wait to vote until the end. As i said i may follow The Profs advice; we shall see. Interesting that Eloh distrusts the Viz, he is someone I trust as well, tbh. Especially interesting since he has not posted since before the night poll. This is his last post:

Havok wrote:One thing I don't think that we've discussed is why this 7? There have been 11 players either NKed or lynched in this game, so why are we choosing between only this lot?

5 players have been NKed in this game while 6 players have been lynched. If the top 4 on the poll are the lynched players, I would bet that Exodus and Domino are both represented there. k4j could very well be Exodus like is being discussed. If I had to guess, I would say that Boogs was Domino. Thinking back to Domino's posts, Boogs is a good match IMO. Therefore, I will likely vote for either Elohcin or A Person for the top portion of the poll.

I'm still contemplating the bottom half.
I wonder if some of the earlier deadies replaced back in to other roles, and thus are unavailable for rebirth?
It is (and will be) interesting to see who pushes what agendas today :) Are we smelling a baddie push for the Viz? Since he appears to be silenced, i hope that this is not the case.

I don't see the case for The Vision but Eloh if there is anything specifically that you saw I'm all ears. You have a fresh perspective. If he's silenced today I wouldn't vote for him though even if I believed he was bad because he couldn't respond to suspicions.

I am not sure about him either way, I just don't get civvie vibes.

I will have to reread but I have he has not stuck out as a baddie to me.
Banners are cool, but a pain to scroll through so...
I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.

Still 5 players who have not posted yet today.

Havok, Marrow, Mikhail, Sebastian, and The Vision

I'm just going to assume that Marrow and Sebastian are being their standard inactive selves, but what about the other three? Especially Havok and Mikhail. :ponder:
