i think urist is always the wolfiest player in the game atm and i think that, pending 112 metadive, mac's spew read is a pretty bad look for 10k, which would leave nanook the villager out of the 3

it's not at all clearing, though, and i wouldn't be particularly surprised at any combination of 2 wolves and a villager in that pool

I guess the subtlety of the meta read is that if 112 had partners that were being town read and being towny then she'd probably not distance from them and just town read them. That I cannot confirm though. It's more of a hunch.

eh it's maybe a little unfair. let me rephrase

you play in a very cagey way, especially earlygame. you play your cards close to your chest, you only share reads that you feel confident in and in general it's very difficult to get a bead on what's actually going through your head at any given time. i accept that this probably works for you in the sense of you feel good about your reads and your general level of play, but you ALSO have to admit that for players with more conventional/holistic styles it can make you a very difficult slot to read, given that oftentimes the only real evidence you put into the thread for a while is like. objective empirical evidence. vote patterns, wolfreading X player at Y time, etc etc.

it's a style that's very difficult for me specifically to engage with so you'll have to forgive me for describing it in reductive terms

In the scenario where they're both mafia and TSP voted 112 early for distance. But then got caught there because nutella and others built the wagon a lot of both of their posts makes sense as does their lack of wim.

TSP mostly of day paused to say that regardless of alignment he believed someone pushing 112 is mafia but gave no names. He never earnestly pushed that wagon and in fact pushed on others but no other wagons manifested except for Alison.

The part you need to resolve to solve TSP is would/could TSP as mafia have justified jumping to Alison at any stage. I say no. Therefore he gets no cred for the vote.

So two roads diverged here, let's think about them. There are significant game state reasons to think that the push on Alison was largely driven as a counter wagon, at least to some people. Mac expressed a view that the wolves weren't in control on day 1, and that seems to be accurate with the way in which the thread meandered into a 112 chop. The close vote count makes it more likely that it wasn't a huge pile on and decreases the likelihood of bussing for similar reasons.

However, as I expressed mid day yesterday, 112 seemed resigned -- at that point in scum chat, you tell your threadmates to pull the trigger. I think that makes it fairly likely that one or both members of the wolf team bussed, that the Alison wagon was more town pushed than not. We'd be looking then for the third or fourth on the 112 wagon, but you'd expect them to have come on pretty strongly if possible -- if the team weren't actually doing nothing.

also I finished my MTG games and caught up and my comment is that reading interactions post-flip is an important part of gamesolving but I generally think you're a bit more confident in the direction that 112 posts spew people as than I'd like to be. Like I'm going to give 112 credit for realizing that they have a good chance of getting exed D1 and not being totally obvious in spewing people certain alignments with their reads/posts

This isn't to say that your interaction analysis is totally wrong I just think that stuff like "oh tutuu is town because 112 townread her" isn't something I'm willing to support by itself unless it's backed by other evidence that tutuu is town

Mac pushing a world where I bus pings me. Mac has no reason to think I have a bus meta as mafia. If anything I have anti bus meta from the games we have played together. I will absolutely fake claim to save a partner rather than vote on them for credit.

Hard world where Alison AND 112 are mafia can exist. I'm okay just losing to that world Vs being paranoid of it all game.

Random thought re Nutella kill. I think tutuu just hard vetos this kill in night chat. Any thoughts on that angle?

TSP I feel like you're intentionally trying to replicate the "rapid-fire wacky logic" string of posts that you often engage in when you're town. Like you often have odd chains of logic and I've wrongly scumread you for it in the past but this "it's Mac" -> "it's Amy" read flipped too fast even for you.
