I really think the way sprityo attacked JPIC was super scummy and it's one of the major factors that would make JPIC trend up in my reads (I'm ambivalent about it atm because there are good reasons to scumread him too and he didn't really do anything when I tried to reach out to him and get him to show me his towniness).

It was like, sprityo gets pressured by Mac and questioned, and then he immediately redirects with "actually let's not talk about this, let's talk about your JPIC read, I thought that was interesting". And then when Mac challenges him to specify what he found interesting about the JPIC read, he flails for a bit and then lashes out at Mac ("everything you've said has been bollocks", "your case is only based on your own word" etc).

To me that reads as though sprityo is very uncomfortable with Mac's pressure and wants to divert attention to someone else he thinks Mac will scumread just as strongly, and perhaps even townread him for finding JPIC scummy. Could scum!sprityo bullshit some fake reason why the JPIC read was "interesting"? I don't know. But I do know that the two towny responses to pressure are either folding and just receding from the game (because you can't take it) or trying to argue/fight back and show why you're town/why the person pressuring you is misguided or scum. It isn't townie to just grab some random player that's widely scumread and try to use them as a human shield.

Okay, I'm convinced, sprit is scummy. I want you to tell me how that suddenly changed. I don't think we've ever played together for starters.

Specifically what persuaded me was the way sprit declined multiple opportunities to earn Mac's townread by saying "yeah I think Mac is scum for misreading me". Regardless of how accurate the meta tell is, I think town are generally a lot more likely to just be like "yeah, yeah, I'm town, here's what you want, now leave me alone so I can slank/solve/lead/whatever", whereas mafia tends to be naturally be inclined towards being more self-conscious and less likely to "blatantly" try to grab towncred because they're paranoid it looks bad or it could be a trap.This is hypothetical, what is normal means nothing and meta is a useless word to justify an agenda. What town cred am I trying to grab?

Okay, here's something I will give you credit for. You're not wrong. I had just popped into thread, saw my name in Mac's mouth. Reacted. I was assuming something noteworthy had actually happened, but no it's day 1 where we all shout how ugly your christmas sweaters are and then you get locked in the closet for being not ugly enough. Second line is true, true, and true but why is it super bad? you just saying so doesnt make me believe anything. Finally a backpedal on the scum read just before. This post is really good at throwing shade and that's about it.

Okay JPIC, here's the good news. I think sprit and you both look bad but I also don't think you can be wolves together and the way sprit tried to turn the subject to you when under pressure indicates that you're the town of that pair. Which I've already quoted and talked about. This is the same post as above im saying is just shade throwing, only with more wording. This is more a direct attempt to get a single person to have a bad image of myself starting off. I'm sure any regular who's been in a game with Mac and I and we always have this rivalry goin on. I recognize mac is a good player, better than myself in my opinion. And mac recognizes i am a good player but a easy mislynch/lynch depending on what team we're respectively on. Alison has been making a lot of posts about past games, mechanics kind of? and of course pushing me and really only me. I saw something about Odd and ted here and there but really nothing to support her town reads or her two scum reads. I think Alison is trying to be a deepwolf with minimal effort to be honest. As for who could be her partners I could definitely but down JPIC, Mac, Tutuu, and Hally as potential partners.
