Christmas is here for me. Presents wrapped and opened (I was a very good girl this year!) turkey dinner ate and leftovers stored. Back to work tomorrow for me.

I am spreading Christmas out for a bit, lol. My first celebration was with my mom's side on Sunday, then tonight my mom and sister come down to my apt and are staying the night. The 26th I'm spending quality time with Socky and then celebrating with my Dad on Sunday the 30th. So my gifts are slowly dwindling from under the tree, lol.

Oh and my sister bought me a new frying pan, which totally makes my day!!

@ troofie - local pizza place. You'd think we'd be dead on Christmas what with the hams and the turkeys and stuff. And you'd be so very wrong. IDK why peeps out here like pizza so much on the holidays but they sure do.

@ SD - I got a cast iron skillet for Christmas! We are the Skillet Queens.

Christmas was awesome, my usually self involved and inconsiderate step brother had me for the Secret Santa, and he actually aced it. Three small, but very well thought out gifts that appealed to me as an individual. All the gifts i bought were well received, and my family day was really nice; we even had a discussion on a controversial topic (gun control) that we all have very divergent ideas on, and everyone was respectful and willing to listen. No screaming, cursing or storming out.

I hope the aliens who obviously abducted my family never bring them back and leave these people instead

JC, go to User Control Panel and then Profile. It should be the last option on the bottom.

I think my iPad is doing drugs while I am at work. I have a

down in my lower bar when you scroll all the way down, just underneath the link/word "bookmark"

What on earth is that about? And occasionally, the smilies show up gigantic... And warped looking!

Perhaps an intervention should be staged. And a twelve step program employed. My poor iPad is throwing its life away on drugs...

My iPad has the same problem. Sometimes people's avatars are replaced by a smiley. A lot of the time they just pop up randomly. Might be phpBB.

I absolutely MUST share a story with you all. Yesterday I was going to drop MP off at work and then go to work myself, and we could not find my keys. Now bear in mind, I am incredibly forgetful and lose things frequently, but this time I could not find them anywhere. Which can drive him crazy because he is way more organized than I am. MP was all like, we have to assign a place where you always put your keys, even if I have to out a big sign there that says KEYS!

We finally give up,and I use the spare keys to my car and steal his key to my apartment. Then he texts me that night, guess where the keys turned up?

Hey, you told me to keep your keys, so I put them in my coat pocket, thinking I wouldn't lose them there. Well, I guess I didn't, since they stayed there.

But, more importantly, this is the first time I ever had anything to do with them being misplaced. Out of like 9000.

Lol. I obviously exaggerate. She's not near that bad. I still love her always, even when she forgets where she put her keys!

But... even I can admit this was kind of funny.

Yeah but I usually have an idea of where they might be because I can think through what I did when I walked in the door. It might not be immediate but I have always found them.

I do have a bad habit of misplacing things. Poor MP has to deal with my absent minded personality.
