I do remember thinking to myself that I associate LC's shitposts during the me-mac time with more of a town tell because I find him very calculated as scum and I think he has an easier time as town, but it's probably a bad read.
i don’t think he has an easier time as town. it’s the opposite afaik
he has a harder time as town??
i think so. he’s one of the best scum players on the syndicate afaik

Hally's not giving me any town pings, this is uncharted territory. This game's wolfy as shit man.
i’m very tired and cranky rn sorry
can you talk to me about lc?
He's in the same pool as mac, tutuu, you, casso. Do you want me to look at anything specific, or why'd you ask?
idk do you think he’s like town!lc?
Off my limited perception of what town!LC is like, I did think he was townie.
Either way I don't really see anything scum indicative so that's enough to make "don't yeet D1 list"
Do you wanna look at some of MY scum games?
I don't really do meta dives because I think meta's shit and takes away from the pleasure of solving. I also think I'm a big shot and wouldn't need meta do get good reads.

Why is it weird vibes?
Weird as in robotic and generic.
I make a habit of asking players who i think I'll struggle to get a read on long term how they approach the game early on. That way i can avoid making a dumb case for one alignment or the other.
Also why did you make these posts questioning my opening posts? I voted you. I feel like if you were reading the game as closely as you were trying to appear to you'd have something to say about that as well.
I am reading the game, and so I know that several people have called out your sketchy sheepvote already.

I really hope this point about alison's slot is a joke or something lol
I cant think of a game where scum lies on purpose about who has posted what in the thread in the early game. Even more so coming from somebody as tidy as Alison
I don't really get your last point. You don't think scum lies on purpose? Do you think town lies on purpose? What exactly is "lying on purpose"? Is there accidental lying?

I keep coming back to this exchange. Alison does a wishy-washy non-read on Mac, but when I asked her to elaborate on what she said, she gave the most openwolfing response I have ever seen from her.
Just let me know if I'm the only person who sees it this way, and I'll go back to shutting up.

Cassowary's ISO is pretty lean. Why is it that he's a *scum* struggling to get the pulse of the thread, and not just a *player* trying to do the same? Honestly though, I think it was just a lame POE read on you so let's move on from that, you can scumread me later on if you want but what about your other reads Long Con?
I didn't mean you!
Joseph, Hally, and tutuu, I have no idea. Their shells are too thick right now to penetrate, despite Joseph's raunchy and aggressive dancing.
Nanook, by his own admission, doesn't have much to offer. He saw that there was a lot of memes happening, and he got right on board, and I'd call that move >rand scum.
tedxtr looks pretty town, though I admit to skimming some of his longer posts recently. He's not just sheeping the main townreads that are being shared around, which I see as a good thing.
Cass, as I said, has the least to work with. I'm not that gung-ho about chopping low-posters, and some more thoughts would be nice, since his only opinion has been that chard's oft-discussed post is forced/weird.

I like seeing people try new things. Alison based off last game is a serous poster, so seeing her attempt a more intuitive style would be interesting imo.

Hi MacDougall, I actully did manage to break up a T V T as mafia once and got lots of town cred D1. Alas it didnt last and i was on the chopping block D2.
May i ask for a succinct description of your playstyle?
Weird vibes.

I see it Long Con. Yeah, that was a bit weird honestly, after playing with Alison once before. But let's just forego this past omgus eh? (sweats)

That's probably the reason I have a null read, Gambler's Fallacy aside. I hadn't realized until it was stated here that she has never rolled scum on the Syndicate, but how can I have any metric when shes never been bad? Not that I really base my opinions on past games for the most part. Most "obvtown" things can be faked, can't they? Especially with her entrance to this game, which IS completely unlike anything I have seen from her iirc.
Yeah but your town read is, like, based on personality...?
like, alison was her town alison self, 1612 is full of energy and is doing so much (this is my second game with him i dont exactly know his personality) and he's like completely different from last game where he was scum
Which game was that? A Syndicate game?
lion king
I see the difference, way lower energy level and level of interaction on Day 1. And some damn huge posts that read like a boring lecture.
1612 does say that's NAI, but I'm starting to feel you here.
I would prefer that you give me a chance. I can usually show my towniness better after a day or two.
ok. please compare 1612 in this game to lion king and tell me why he’s scummy. like, what is the reason for your vote?
Ha, I was already doing it. The reason for my vote is already in the thread, and it's Alison-based, not 1612.
ok. where will you move your vote?
I would vote chard among the popular folks, Nanook if I saw it go that way.
What solving have you done? Do you expect me to have the game solved by mid-Day 1? I think that's Mac's territory. I usually don't even have any reads until later than this.
i don’t think this is real solving lc
Ok, then vote me. Sorry my skills aren't up to your level. Find me a game where my Day 1 solving skills are stronger and I'll give you five dollars.

I do remember thinking to myself that I associate LC's shitposts during the me-mac time with more of a town tell because I find him very calculated as scum and I think he has an easier time as town, but it's probably a bad read.
Is tedxtr a good mafia player? I was memeing last time but I am actually scared of a Long Con and tedxtr pair because they town read each other...
Like tedxtr was advising against handing out town reads like candy and rely on logic but his reason on his town read on Long Con seems a bit weak considering that its ted.
Ehh probably won't push it because I think ted is town but yeah just bringing up my level one read
--------------------------------------------
Gnight TEDx
If you ask other people, apparently I am a prodigy
I do agree it’s a bad read and I stated it, those were my feelings at that moment, it’s not to say I town read him but I don’t explicitly scum read him, it’s an important distinction to make.
Although Hally seems to be making good points for a scum read if she’s correctly interpreting LC’s posts so I’m gonna look into it

That Alison couldn't or wouldn't follow up on all Joseph's great "reads and pushes" and instead gave a snarky meme answer.

nook do you actually not tr 1612?
Not particularly I don’t think a big catchup is that hard to fake for most people
If there are other reasons to I likely haven’t read them so idk if I agree with them or not
So I came out of the ISO and Hally is mostly right, the only actual thoughts / progressions are later on and it’s about an Alison post and also cassowary’s ISO being “lean”, whatever that means.
I don’t really think he’s wolf though, even with that in mind. I think there’s some good snark as well as I found some questions that are actually good.
That’s pretty much my take for now, I am not moving
I don’t really know how accurate “not having reads” is in a game where the only readable slots are 1612, me and chardonnay, with a touch of cassowary who could be a wolf

Ok compare that to Mac's ISO. Like, am I not not-giving-a-shit enough for you?
I am not scum reading you so I don’t know the point you’re making. Are you saying that Mac is scum?
I'm saying my "thoughts / progressions" are getting shit on, and Mac's are apparently untouchable. How do you think his game compares to this: Mac Champs 2019
And like Alison said, Mac better back it up with some good truthful content later on or I will vote him for sure.
macs lack of... anything is not lost on me. he’s still firmly in his scum range. probably wouldn’t kill today just because if he actually is town he will clear himself through play later. but yea he’s underwhelming

Was the link above a mafia game for Mac? If so, yeah I can see the similar playstyle for this game. Yeah lots of quieter players in EoD Hally ......lame!

will mac stop wasting his vote on a vanity wagon? will lc and nook stop voting the most obvious town to ever exist? will anyone else show up? stay tuned to find out
LC citing Mac games to drive "a point" across when he didn't even scum read me and when he cited a multiball game for a scum game comparison is pretty funny. 1612 pretending the games are similar is also a good kek.

Ok, let's just compare to the town game?
lc why are you still voting 1612 when you said he’s different from his scum game?
MacDougall will you be moving your vote?
