I ended up invited to a party, so I couldn't do it. I did an acoustic set earlier this year and then an electric one. I'll maybe do that second acoustic set after this Walrus thing has concluded.
how much of the game have you read btw? did you just jump straight in and start interacting or did you back read at all?

One more question and then I'll leave you alone.
What is your take on everybody so far? In your 599 posts I'm sure you have a list somewhere, so a link to that would be fine.

so i have nook/tutuu/poison/arete/vul as my town (or at least “not mafia”) core. outside of that i don’t really know. there’s many people i can see as town and pretty much nobody except wilgy that stands out as “clearly not town.” and even wilgy is more a shrug than anything. if you want like my detailed takes on everyone, i don’t have a list that has explanations but takes on everyone are scattered throughout my iso
do you have a specific player or players you want to ask about?

Re: Escape From Russia [Day 0]
im probably reading too much into it but this interaction pinged me as possibly w/w. why is wilgy calling tony scum for saying he’s town? was this a serious read and if so wheres the follow up/why does wilgy seem happy to just vote where tony tells him the rest of the phase. idk maybe wilgy wouldn’t actually be like “tony tell me where to vote” if they’re teamed though

lc can like pretty easily be mafia here and we should probably collectively stop having the lowest bar for him imaginable to be clear because he’s smart enough to not play exactly the same way as he did last game and honestly still doesn’t really read like town!lc to me when i look at his posts more closely

Re: Escape From Russia [Night 1]
lc this game still feels more agenda’d than his town games just in how he’s constantly jumping from one push to the next. i don’t think he’s actually like that as town. as town he’s more chill and kind of like takes in information and seems to be pondering it and stuff. here i feel like he has all these pushes just to have them idk

Re: Escape From Russia [Night 1]
Okay, I’ve taken some time out to clear my head and try to get a fresh view of the game. Some things that have been bubbling away in my brain overnight:
Hally: didn’t really like their EoD, don’t really like their inability to find any scumreads and focus instead on LHF. Felt like there could have been a hidden agenda to engineer a mislynch or protect a teammate without getting their hands dirty. She’s saying “oh I didn’t know what to do and I just wanted to cop out and not take responsibility” - but it actually felt to me like she had a reasonable amount of thread control and helped bring the TH lynch home. It speaks to me more of someone who had a deliberate goal than someone who was lost. I’m not saying that’s necessarily what happened - even if Tony flips red Hally could easily just be town - but this is the first time this game I’ve had a reason other than tinfoil to look askance at Hally.
Vulgard/Arete - I’m entertaining a weird theory where they are are w/w. I feel like if this was the world, their approach would match what we’ve seen. They’re in a new environment and don’t know how much respect their respective reads on each other will be given, don’t know if they’ll get townread enough as a pair to powerwolf the game or what, so they start out scumreading each other in case one has to go down to give the other cred. And then after seeing that their thread position is pretty good, they flip their reads around and become considered mutually cleared. I don’t think this is actually the world - in fact it’s highly unlikely - but it’s a thought that’s bouncing around in my head.
Long Con - his last minute vote on Tony makes me hmmm a bit. I can’t help wondering if this could be a tony partner hanging off until the last second to see what was going to happen. As it was he could vote there and try to look disassociated, but if the vote had been closer he could have thrown down a vote on trip with a “Don’t let it tie” justification. Again, I’m not trying to say this is definitely the world, just a thought I’m entertaining.
Tony - Obviously I pushed this slot hard and I don’t regret that. I was and am convinced Tony is a hit. Even if I was wrong, I was trying to be right and that’s better than some other people in this game, so it was right for me to hard push my view. I understand what Hally was saying to me about my tendency to tunnel, but I also think an actual suspicious player should always have been the lynch over a potato. All that said, I’m actively going to try to untunnel and give myself a chance to find town Tony this phase if he’s out there. And if not, at least make sure I get a broader view of the game and that I’m not just focused on one slot.
Tutuu - Arete said something about lolcatting with words, and I feel that matches my perception too. Other people say that they’ve never seen her scum and it would be a hard style to replicate but I don’t see why. There’s very little attempt to project any sort of consistency, you can literally just say or do anything and that would be IMO a very easy, freeing way to wolf. I do not think she should be removed from PoE.
Michelle - her little spat with poison is, I think, not based on good logic. It seems like plain OMGUS to me. But that’s not unusual from Michelle as either alignment. I am starting to see a bit more town energy from her in pushing that tunnel if I squint a bit? But I still don’t think she’s obvious town and I think town Michelle should be obvious. Still scumreading, though less confidently.
Nanook - His hard defence of me surprised me yesterday and made me reassess. I couldn’t see a wolf doing that. I’ve tried to come up with worlds where he does and they all feel weird and forced. So yeah. I think I really do need to townread this slot despite my instincts. Sorry Nook.
Dunya - you’re probably not reading this, but if you are I hope you feel better. Welcome to the game Epi.
