I remember your PoE not looking that bad to me outside of the inclusion of Arete.

I honestly hate the fact I need to do all the defending for Arete, that's definitely terrible. If it was anyone but Arete, I'd PoE them in a heartbeat and I wouldn't complain about them being in PoE.
But it's Arete.

I see this as a far more appropriate reaction; you suddenly getting town-shaped googly eyes over a pre-sheep was kind of weird.

Can we compare PoEs real quick? I'll do my best to write a solid TSP case later.
Arete / Wilgy / Epi / TSP / LC

idk somewhere there

I ~could be completely blindsided by Michelle here, I actually think Poison's earlier case on her looked prettay good but, idk. It's kind of the same thing as you and Arete.

I think Michelle is town, but given her meta shift, she may be purposely trying to fool me or something. I'd put a little more stock on your Arete read than mine just because of that fact.

I don't think she's fooling me because if she got a glimpse for what she thought my scum reads on her were based on, she would've corrected it like...A LOT earlier.

i mean i don’t exactly expect mafia to sub in and immediately just be like “hally owns my vote.” i’d expect epi would want to retain a bit more agency than that if he’s mafia. but im asking anyway

Can the mafia please put down their guns and become town?

And yeah, that seems to be the case. I don't know, I just... think that Michelle has given me plenty of small town pings, which have accumulated into a townread, but it's a townread I can't explain very well.

I feel like this question doesn't really have a good answer. It could be "we're correct and secondguessing ourselves," or it could be "we're all being fooled because we're doubting our suspicions." It's impossible to tell.
What I know is that I find her less scummy than my primary target of the day, so for now, I think this is fine.

we should probably just nuke all of wilgy/lc/epi/tony/michelle in some order and the re-evaluate once we get a wolf flip in that pool because like, unless wolves are playing amazing, there should be multiple scum in those five. maybe not all, but like... two probably

Hally wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2020 3:00 pm the question is does it mean something that all four of us even want to read michelle town at all even though we acknowledge the reasons aren’t strong? like does that make michelle more likely town just because it feels like that? idk
This sounds like philosophy to me.

@TonyStarkPrime
Per Aristotle, it’d be nice to think that that what it means (subtext: but it probably doesn’t)

And per Kant in every human cognition conceptualization and intuition must be present together; that is, merely intuition w/o reason can never be cognition.

For the record, I'm likely not keeping my vote on Arete. I just don't know where I'm going to put it next.

"okay, maybe you know better" because I'm scared of being wrong

i need to learn to drop that
Can we compare PoEs real quick?

So we have almost exactly the same composition.
Michelle is in that weird spot for me where I think she's town and clear her as such but I feel really dumb about it.
YES

Vulgard town
Are you saying that's a mindmeld?
...Honestly, if so, that's a towny way to put it.
