Re: Escape From Russia [Day 2]
I generally keep it varied. I'm a fan of post rock, though, that much I can say for certain. I don't think there's a better music genre to listen to when I'm doing literally anything. It doesn't distract me.

Re: Escape From Russia [Day 2]
Kay, first, I don’t know why but I cannot really put it in proper words as to why I scum read 112. I went over her ISO twice, and most, if not all of her posts, makes me want to say out loud “Is this anything but scummy/NAI?”
First, a request to all those who town reads 112, please give me some points which makes you think she is town, and so very town to lock her as one. At least I, on my own cannot find a single thing towny about her, I don’t know which tunnel I walked into or building one or whatever, but idk..

Re: Escape From Russia [Day 2]
What did 112 do in the game so far?
- Called out two widely TRed players scum early on. Instantly said they both cannot be scum together.
- Called the entire player list scum throughout the game, a few at a time, or a lot at a time. [Her ISO is full of it]
- No reasons were given to most of their reads, mostly all naked “X is such alignment” post and afterwards becoming diplomatic on those reads.
- Reasons for reads/votes were given only when asked specifically or more than once.
- The votes casted by them were rather random, and were explained poorly [as I believe] upon asking her.
What she did so far in this game seems really very scummy to me. Now, there’s one thing called playing style and there’s this other thing called playing safe , playing for town creds, playing in such a way that you can both save or buss your teammates, in other words a more balanced out reads throughout the game, which is very very prominent, I mean just look at her ISO once, for god's sake.
First, let’s talk about her reasons for her reads, if you take, Vulgard’s suss early on, that read is forced and was given for the sake of it. In a scenario, let’s say, Vulgard is indeed scum, 112 walks in calling him out as an obvious scum. Her reason was he is repeating his statements/points.
1. I don’t think Vul actually repeated much than any usual player trying to talk to people about their reads.
2. Vulgard, by no means, were “obvious scum” if one at all.
3. The tone of her reason, seems a bit awkward and idk forced,or at least that’s how it sounds in my mind, never straight or strong or convincing enough.
Secondly, she calls me wolf, her reason for calling me wolf was quoted with a post of mine replying to vulgard about how I town read him cause I know where he’s coming from. So here 112 she says, how I come to form a town read on vul from prior justification and a few tidbits, which all related to my read on vul [of course no mention of how our interaction proceeded for me to come to that conclusion], having that as a reason she scum reads me. In the next line she says poison/vul ain’t w/w.
This whole thing in my opinion and from experience in a previous game is a tactic to get town cred easy. Calling out widely Tred people scum is not a wolf’s play, unless really skilled, she is skilled.
Additionally, her progression on Mich is the weirdest of all, and mostly flipflopping, as if she is ready to take up any direction any moment in the game, be it for reading her or voting her. In case of TSP though, she mentions that she would like to join the TSP wagon if possible, the TSP wagon was formed and thriving till EoD, but at EoD, her vote was on LC, a single vote on LC.
Beside all of these, just just read her ISO, neither did she do anything which is worth calling scum hunting, neither did she clarify her reads, she literally called the "entire" playerslist scum, all diplomatic views and reads and oh my god she is just scum and I'm literally blinded by her ISO and her post. Just read her ISO just do that or like convince me why she is town...

Do you remember if 112 was online during the time the Tony wagon was a thing? I kind of recall them being checked out for EoD.
If you don’t remember, don’t worry about going back to check, I’ll do it myself.

Haven't listened to it. Now that I know the name, I might.
@ Nanook: Maiak, Meniscus, Echoes of Eon, Tides From Nebula, Distant Dream, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, off the top of my head. Not sure if Lantlos qualifies too.

I would love to know TSP's alignment for certain so that we could analyze voting patterns on day 1 much more easily.

Re: Escape From Russia [Day 2]
It doesn't feel like we're getting anywhere in this game. I'm trying to push on TSP, but I'm not really getting much traction. There is a nonsensical wagon on Ash. People are placing placeholder votes, because they are waiting for a compelling argument or a good situation to vote elsewhere. We're not being a very cohesive voltron, or a very cohesive town, for that matter.
We have similar people in our PoEs. We should just push them at this point instead of arguing about maybes and fringe cases. We're not going to get anywhere that way.
If we wolfside, we wolfside together.

I want either TSP or Wilgy today at the moment. Wilgy is in, like, everyone's PoE, but isn't actually being pushed for some reason. I cased TSP, but people were like "nah" or " " and I was like "ok zoomers."

And I want people to place their darn votes instead of waiting for some reason. We should be doing things, not coasting until EoD and then voting someone nobody strongly believes will flip mafia, because we have no better idea where to place our votes. Yes, I am still throwing shade on the way day 1 ended.
I'd like something more controlled this time around. I don't think anyone was satisfied with yesterday, so we should do better today.

Re: Escape From Russia [Day 2]
The impression I got from the last ~20 pages is that we're just continuously doubting ourselves and going in circles about minor disagreements and "fringe slots" within our PoEs, when what we should be doing is kill the scummy people. And yes, we do have scummy people in this game! We all have PoEs which mostly match one another. One slot that comes to mind is Wilgy. Everyone thinks Wilgy is mafia. Then push there. Stop hesitating for no reason.
It's better than continuing to go back and forth on everyone else until EoD, then voting at the first decent-looking opportunity because "someone has to be yeeted," even if you don't really believe that the target is going to flip mafia.
In other words, I don't think that asking each other so many questions is going to do us much good at this point. Just kill the mafia. Plain and simple. And stop doubting each other until we're given a reason to do so. Right now, I don't see a reason why we should flip the script. We might want to do that later, but we don't need to do it now.

Re: Escape From Russia [Day 2]
We don't have to keep going in circles. We need more flips and more information to solve the game, if it's too difficult for us to do this now. And we won't get these flips if we don't push the scummy people. The agreed-upon PoE consensus. It is relatively small, but it still exists.
So let's do it.
Voltron activate.

It's a top ten in my books... but they went in a direction I didn't much like after The Bends, so I guess I'm not a fan of most of their work.

[VOTE:
epignosis] aubergine His ISO is really weak, and his votes even more so. He has, like, one read: Hally is town. Some softball criticism of the Day 1 lynch result, but none of his own solving conclusions about it. Some light, easy, vaguely-supported suspicions so that he can have a vote to cast.
He gets a little more animated when discussing... not chopping a low-poster twice in a row. Woooo. Real hardline, edgy opinions on the line here. I guess that's two reads, because "Wilgy prob not mafia" is in there too. Percentage of posts, that's his main platform in the game.

I don't think it's accurate. I don't think I've been particularly an agent of chaos in this game, at least more than I am on average. I've had fairly boring takes, overallLong Con wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 12:13 pm@TonyStarkPrime You never responded to this. "Eager to sow chaos", does that describe you accurately enough that you didn't see the need to address it?Epignosis wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 11:05 pmI skimmed and Tony seems more eager to sow chaos than figure things out. Linking Hally with Wilgy is trash.

Day two commenced a while ago, bro. I see you have posts, what I don't see is opinions of people.

Should I judge you negatively for avoiding the accusation when it was first said?TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 1:15 pmI don't think it's accurate. Re: Escape From Russia [Day 2]
I didn't get a lot of time today cause of some family stuff, I'd wake up an hour before EoD.
I don't prefer another lhf lynch tbh.
If you ask me, I'm willing to vote either tsp or 112.
I didn't get much time to catch up, also I'm a bit tired so I'm probably gonna go to bed.
I'm having my vote here
[VOTE: 112] aubergine

I don't think it's unusual for Epi to read me in this manner. If anything, if Epi didn't read me in this manner I might be concerned. Per not responding to it, I dunno. I'm busy, there are a lot of accusations. Vul had a big wall.Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 1:19 pmShould I judge you negatively for avoiding the accusation when it was first said?TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 1:15 pmI don't think it's accurate.
