I've been increasingly wondering about Mongoose as well. I am going to catch up more and reread her while I eat lunch, then I have a massive amount of dishes to do

After reading back through Mongoose and k4j, I find the suspicions on k4j to be stronger than Mongoose. That is where my vote will most likely go today.

For someone with a incredible "gut pings," you haven't expressed an original suspicion or thought. Not a one. And now you are "increasingly wondering" about Mongoose. How so? In what respect? If you've been "increasingly" wondering, that implies that you had a suspicion of her previously, and that suspicion has continued to fester. Yet you've asked Mongoose nothing and you haven't said anything concrete about her.

Ok, I've been watching both k4j and FZ. Honestly, I am really torn. k4j, I want you to understand that it is not that your explanation is impossible. It's how the explanation was handled. It's that you can't see why it would look suspicious from the outside. Why would you even drop a mysterious hint about who you're suspecting if you're not going to say who you're suspecting?

The reason I'm torn is that I also really suspect FZ. Her (right?) behavior since you've come under suspicion has become even more suspicious.

But I think I'm going to have to stick with a vote for you.

As for why I hid my suspicion of Epi, I will try to explain one more time.
I am often a player who says things really fast, out of the gate, and sometimes I make mistakes because I accuse people of not being themselves before they have the opportunity to do so. That has happened on KSITE so unfortunately I cannot give you any examples. But I am criticized with not giving people the chance to be themselves, so while I was suspicious I didn't want to come at Epi too early for his lack of participation (which is the only reason I was suspicious) and lead a lynch when he just hadn't got around to it. Because I was definitely coming with the night and day comparison of WWE and CAH. If I did it too early and he was townie, I might have felt any later input was to settle my nerves. If I did it too early and he was scum, it would have tipped him off into realizing he needed to do something. So I wanted to see what happened, without any of my interaction, to see what was more honest and natural.
I didn't clarify who it was later because I didn't see a reason to give the names on who I trusted because that could have been seen as a threat to the mafia.

Okay, I understand the last minute vote for Alex, although I can't know if that is true or not. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for that, but the above explanation is all over the place. I don't understand how pointing out that Rob is not his usually chatty self makes him not be himself. If you've played with him before, you'd know he doesn't give a toss about what others think of play style and would definitely not change it just because someone has a problem with that. It is possible you didn't mention it because he would have been all over you, but that's a mere assumption. Also, the tone of your defense seems a bit too overdramatic and that always puts me off, and unwilling to cooperate with emotional terrorists. So it's not the fact that you are being defensive, everyone has the right to do that, but the way in which you choose to defend yourself.

OK I have about 5 pages to cath up on for sure and doubt I can finish while the wee babe naps. From the reading I've don on this page I am leaning towards FZ over K4J. The K4j I am reading in this game so far reminds me of WWE (I think that was the game?). We went back and forth in the last hours of a vote and actually worked really hard to save a what turned out to be a baddie MP. The level of uncertainty and last minute hesitancy is very similar to that game, where he fooled us both. I wasnt feeling great on FZ after the last vote either, so still getting a stronger case there.

I agree with llama that a spread vote makes it easier for the baddies to manipulate the lynch in their favor, but I also agree with MP/TH as well. If we go llama's way and pile votes on someone like Dom, chances are he will turn out civ and then we are left with not much info to go on. Day 1 is usually all about guessing and disappointment unfortunately.

Lots of names have been thrown around but I have no gut pings as of yet, my gut pings are usually right. I'd like to be able to wait and see if I get any, but there is not much time and I need to go ahead and vote b/c I have RL stuff to do.

This has to be one of the most ambivalent posts I've ever seen.

Regarding the enlarged, what is it about Dom that makes him more likely to be civilian than anyone else? "Someone like Dom..."

Anyway, let me outline this post:

A. Therefore Day 1 is about guessing and being disappointed.

The defeatist attitude of item "A" stands in stark contrast with the next post, highlighted below. Item "A" also is not what one would expect if Item "2b" were true.

Seriously?!? That is an amazing result. I can't believe that in two games in a row we got a baddie Day 1. I think I will be less likely to randomize Day 1 now. Great result!

I am choosing "my journal". I would never forget food, drink, or a rope. I am one of those mom's that has everything she or her kids will need right in her purse/diaper bag .

I voted for Kyle since he voted for me. I know his vote was random and there are no hard feelings there. And, I wouldn't have voted for him if it meant he would receive 2 votes and be tied for first. I wanted to vote for someone who had no votes so far and he seemed like the best choice. All in good fun! But I hope more things come to the surface thoughout the night and tomorrow so we can have a better idea of who could be bad.

This is fabulous! However, she did specify she had no gut pings at the time (which are usually good), hence her random vote. There is one thing that you missed right there in the enlarged text: WE got a baddie, although she had nothing to do with it. I specifically remember Polaris saying this after I lynched one of his teammates. So you might be onto something here.

If you feel that strongly about Rey being bad (and you do seem to), then why not vote for him anyway regardless of who follows you? Stick to your own guns rather than doing what you think everyone else wants to do. If you were that set on it you'd do it rather than just settling for second best and following the crowd. If he does turn out to be bad you can brag about it later. I'm not feeling too good about you, and I need to get my vote out of the way now so I'm gonna have to just *Vote FZ*.

I haven't played much with him but he was really quiet in CAH which is why I wanted to see if it would continue or if he would turn into the player I was familiar with in WWE, if my logic is faulty it is because I have only played a few games with him and I made this comparison. My posts make sense coming from my logic. As for my tone of defense, I understand but I've never been in this position before against a bunch of people where the majority don't know how I play and the few that do are wrongfully voting me

I am not convinced that either FZ or k4j is bad, nor am I seeing the same things others are on any of the other names. Epi, however, I have learned to trust when it comes to Elo, and if he were bad I don't think he would go after his wife. So my read on this is that he is not bad and truly thinks she is. I also don't know why I'm continually being accused of not posting content when that was just a Day 1 phenomenon. Today has been a different story. If you want someone who's posted but not been helpful at all, look at Vomps.

As for the Harry Potter game, I have never played such an aggressive game in my life, nor do know if I could ever pull that off again, especially since we still lost anyway. You have to admit too, I was one lucky SOB for getting the all the baddies right. And yes, Zombie date ftw!

But I still don't see how being cryptic in regards to your suspicions, be that Epi or anyone else, has any impact on their evolution and your telling if they're civ or not. I actually think you should call them out on whatever and see how they react under pressure, like you right now.

I really can't understand why mentioning that I think I know who I am going to vote is suspicious. I don't see a scums purpose in doing that. If I were scum, what would I gain from that? If I were scum in fact I would have mentioned it so that IF Epi started talking I could claim he was doing it because of what I said, that way I would be a win/win situation. So I feel like people are taking this claim and giving it a scummy purpose when there isn't really any reason to do so. So I didn't say who I was voting, so? Like I just did it. I've explained that I try to wait before jumping to conclusions. Had I jumped to the conclusion, I think I would have made a bad decision. I would have rather seen this talkative Epi develop without pressure because it would have felt more genuine to me than had he done it in reply to me. It is just that. People are really making this into a huge deal, when it is far from.
