They were mason hunting, their initial callout of my vote on FG was scummy, and they were inconsistent/behaving oddly when I asked them about their vote on me/their entrance to the night phase

I think quite a few people were mason hunting; after all the town has to figure out at some point which group of masons to trust and not only that, but also to figure out if a group of mason claims were mafia or not (since mafia have BTSC like masons)

Marmot has said he didn't like voting masons on d1; I presume the reasoning as to why that wasn't optimal is because if we actually eliminated a mason on day 1, it was possible that the mafia would night-kill the other mason

I think their behavior has been a bit odd, but I don't think any of their odd behaviors were scum-indicative

I'm not aware of what exactly was the issue, but iirc someone or some people had an issue with this post:

For me personally, at the time I was suspicious of TL, it was because they hadn't developed much, and this was their last 2 posts of the time (#88 and #99), in particular #88.

It just felt like they were getting intimidated, possibly to due to wolf self-awareness or TMI.

However when they returned I saw nervousness from them, and in the context of the reads they gave and more, I felt it came from a towny perspective or mindset.

I've only really been present in the thread for the more recent posts from them, and I agree with you on that content. The opening post is weird sure, but we've had plenty of content since then.

I'm leaning back to a ts vote, despite my previous reservation.
