Yeah, there's a bunch of active really townie players, and it's why I read Mac as being unlikely to just rest on his laurels and let us do whatever we want if he's a wolf. Especially if my theory that there's one in Poison/tutuu is correct, then he'd probably feel more obliged to do something to try to redirect me from that. The way Mac is wolf and acts like this is if all my reads are wrong, but I don't feel a need to go there yet.

Reality - I didn't want to play this game at the times that I checked in because I was preoccupied and every time I checked another 3 pages of posts got added. So I just made a meme post or two and went back to doing other things.

Some of them make sense to be read town by ordinary means like Falcon and Flanders. The remainder haven't passed my standards test and I don't know why they've passed yours. And asking me to accept a read on blind faith without even giving me a post to look at as town is actually pretty bad for you too.

You're all overthinking it. Whenever tutuu is town she is super natural and gets towncleared by everyone immediately and always engages in zany roleplays. Her entrance this game was forced/awkward and had a bunch of people feeling bad about it. She felt like she was forcing herself to act like town tutuu more than anything. The reason I feel comfortable clearing her pretty hard early on in most games is because town tutuu is very difficult to comfortably fake as scum, and I think her behavior this game matches up with scum struggling to slip into her town meta.

yes she is not being what tutuu is about. her posts seems more "seriousy tone" if that makes sense.

NIK's play looks like it slots right into that pattern to me.

So I don't know tuutuu's range, but I think you frequently see players get personal as mafia members if they get called out early or for bad reasoning. Which seems to be what happened there.

CDC players rub off on each other is something you read one of them say and are now regurgitating it. It is a mafia forum not a North Korean military camp.

Re. blind faith it is because you did it a second time to someone else. I now think you actually just have no reason for the town read and are afraid to admit it.

I think when you're getting scumread as a wolf you know the town is justified/correct and are just like "well, you got me" and are less likely to get super pissed at them for it, than if you know they're wrong and throwing the game with their own hubris. I've seen pissed off tutuu and it generally seems to be when she thinks she has the moral high ground, which she wouldn't if the scumreads on her were 100% correct.

I'm amending this to be slightly less than I thought it was because I did just think of a recent Discord conversation (pre-rand) where she said she would get pissed if she was caught for the wrong reasons, but even with that in mind I think my general rule that people get more angry if they know the suspicion on them is totally bullshit and wrong tends to be more true.
