I feel like MR at the start of D2 was playing similarly to Sloonei in Grasslands, posting enough but not having a lot of motivation. He picked up motivation later on but basically went on a quest to check all the boxes of "things MR usually does in games." (correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know all the things MR does in games but I felt like he was playing to fulfill expectations) I think if MR is scum and scum know each other, NIK isn't mafia. MR's treatment of NIK felt like he wanted to get towncred off it. Also Poison was quite scummy.
