Oh yeah, I was just trying to make conversation with her. Wasn't sure what else to say.

As for lying low, I'm really sorry about that, I only work well in the full-on game-solve-y part of the game, and I'm not good at the casual conversation part of D1 so I just keep lurking waiting for someone to get us into a place where I have something to work with. I think my short break from the game made me forget how to do D1s and I was never good at it in the first place

Ok so basically generic pecan pie is pretty much garbage but if you have the good homemade stuff that isn’t just a gelatinous filling with some pecans on top it’s pretty solid. But yeah 98% of pecan pies are pretty bad.

i keep switching between - the way dunya asserted herself and tried to break the ice was towny.

that was my first thought. but then i thought - isnt it a bit too much? perhaps a tad bit theatrical? "Maybe she'll speak now that she's being spoken to " <- this part

then my next thought was - does it make sense to consider that a read, and have i not seen town!dunya talk like that before in mafia? and wasn't the way she accused PSI of laying low (an accusation that i think is clearly false, considering how little everyone is posting) - isn't that towny actually? (her accusation of something that i dont see how can it be possibly be true) - is it not more likely that most mafia people (when they roll mafia) tend to make accusations that seem aggreeable?

so, so far, more arguments for dunya to be town than dunya to be scum, but part of me wants to still keep her at an arm's distance, because i never reevaluate my reads and if i decide shes something im gonna lock it in, and i dont wanna get it wrong. my gut still says something is off

then, my final thought was that i shouldnt trust my gut so much, even tho it has often be right, it has also let me down

ill think on it further / see what more pops up, but as it is right now, if i had to say what' dunya's alignment and the whole game depended on it - i would say shes town, and i believe in 70% of the time i would be right and 30% wrong (this is unaccounted for town to scum rand being different. this is assuming its 50/50. so if by default the town to scum rand chance is 75 to 25 and a null read would be equated to 50 50, my 70 30 read on dunya would be equated to the default % chance to rand town + (70 - 100/2) multiplied by [im not sure if the default chance to rand town or scum. i think its one of the two but im a bit tired to reverse engineer this formula]

All right, looks like we're starting to get to the game-solve-y part now, so I guess I'll try and give some hot takes.

As much as I want Tutuu to be scum (I just can't stand when things are unbalanced...she's been town too many times in a row my brain needs to even it out) I think she's probably just town here. Her thinking-aloud posts show a townie hesitation and thought process, wanting to get things right. I could still be wrong here but that's my thinking.

For some reason I want to scumread Epignosis? That's just a gut instinct though and I have a feeling they have the kind of playstyle I just auto-scumread and have to force myself to reevaluate.

I feel like I should have a better read on Dunya but every time I pick a read my mind goes wait no and I'm back to square one. So idk there

Nutella reads slightly scummy but I have no reasoning there

I want to go hmmm at Nanook and Esooa for what seems like purposely avoiding game-related discussion but I can't really blame them when there isn't anything there. They're also just probably the type to do that so meh

my first thought when i saw this was ohhh i buy it. yep. i see why he did that.

but now at reread it's not like that.

if me and nutella are teammates, the hesitation isn't just phony, she's prevoted for who to eliminate this day phase and im pretty sure it isn't me. (even if nutella is actually wolf here, she's not voting me to be the d1 lynch for sure). why would she phony it in with me?

like, i think epignosis should conclude more from that nutella being w than dunya and nutella being w/w. it's very a strange progression. the words make sense, but just not entirely in this game setup.

and im not bothered about town epi, cos he is an asset to town and will be able to see town dunya eventually.
