I tend to prefer hedging my bets. Marking a mafia means no matter how the day goes it isn’t terrible, and as I’ve talked about today town dying D1 followed by no NK is actually slightly pro scum

I also just forget to vote sometimes, I don't do it super often but maybe that's just me. And I don't have very good reads yet which is mb, but because of that I generally would default to voting someone who's more scummy on average

hmm, i find people who take a step back from their usual erratic posting style to be mafia-leans to me because it's hard to replicate that carefree posting style as mafia. i can post a lot as town, i can never post as much as mafia simply because i have the game solved. especially in a setup like this one where there's no 3p hunting or second mafia team where i can blend.

While I'd consider you and Nanook to be null, I'm leaning more on the scummy side than the townie side for you, and more on the townie side than the scummy side for Nanook. Nutella's earlier posts (can collect if need) seemed a little odd to me, and Marmot is suspiciously null. Everyone else is townie enough to stay out of the POE.

The most she talks to Dunya about is arguing with her about me. Dunya's interactions with Esooa are more interesting. She has a very confusing progression on her, switching from questioning people's townreads on her to implying she townreads her at least a little bit to going back to questioning people's townreads on her, and then voting her. Her unusual progression on Esooa is the weirdest part to me, but she does vote Esooa and is the first to do so, still stating that I'm her first pick and therefore she's a compromise vote. I'm not sure why W!Dunya would push me all day and continue to hardscumread me but also bus her own partner out of the blue for literally no reason. It could happen, but I'm seeing it as unlikely.

There's potential here, but I think there will be more likely suspects.

He could also be town and this is TMI (when he flips town), but it could just be a regular read. I'm not sure. It is interesting that she chose him of all people to use as an example.

Epignosis's interactions with Esooa:

Epi has...absolutely zero interactions with Esooa. He quotes a single one of her posts in an off-topic discussion, and that's literally it.

Esooa's wishy-washy reads of Epi seem like they fit pretty well with them being partners; however, I'm not sure if Epi is the type to completely ignore his partner itt for all of D1. I would say that these two have great partner equity.

Nanook's logic wert to the nk is flawed. Or at least incomplete. Actually, I'm now realizing what he's saying. Regardless of the flip today, if mafia gets a nightkill, we can learn a lot from the discussion leading up to the vote.

I'm fine with an esooa chop. I don't want to chop myself, but I'm also ok with it. I do think I'm probably the "easiest" misyeet in this game, and something could be learned from it.

That said, I don't have any strong reads currently except for PSI town, so I'm going to stick to the strategy of random voting.

The two have very few interactions, with one little thing about Marmot being LHF, and Marmot stating that he's fine with an Esooa chop but never actually commiting. I think they'd work pretty well as partners.

There's very little there, and I would say that on their own they wouldn't be too bad of a team. I can see Nanook bussing Esooa I think. But I'm also townreading Nanook independently of this, and I think there's more evidence in other players.

I would say there's a very low chance these two are the team. Esooa votes Nutella rather early on and has no hesitation about it, while Nutella shows wishy-washy-ness after voting, which I honestly don't think would be necessary in a bussing situation. I also townread Nutella independently of this. So yeah, I'd probably chop Nutella last out of all the players (except maybe Tutuu).

imo nutella is a fine lynch, I don't like how she is susing people just for voting PSI. I think PSI is town but it seems like a stretch to say mafia just 8ball target someone then push them without reasons, it'd basically out them lol. I also don't like her focus on Dunya and haven't really seen anything towny from her so I'm fine with the lynch.

Dunya for aforementioned (is this the word?) reasons + her new posts now which i like, esooa for her being chill and i believe her, she is a very competitive person, PSI i just liked her wall post, i think those reads were reasonably not-the-easiest to fake as scum for most ppl. Also i still cant get over the fact that she said shes very sorry for laying low that was just so adorable and i wanna squish her

I...guess they could be partners? But it's very hard for me to not look at this through the lens of Tutuu being town. I feel like Tutuu shows a certain kind of wishy-washy-ness wrt Esooa that mafia wouldn't really bother with, especially if thread consensus isn't changing at all regarding said partner. But again, having trouble seeing Tutuu as anything but town.

I would say Epi and Marmot look the worst from this, and they're also in my POE, so I would definitely chop them first. Maybe Dunya after that.

True, but you also mentioned that everyone but me and Marmot had given you some reason to be townread, implying you townread Esooa at the time. Was that just the result of the GTH read, or was there a different reason you didn't mention? That's the part I've been confused about.

I feel like I'm slowly starting to accept Dunya as town tbh. I think the way she reacted to my reaction by thinking it was kinda towny and then doubting herself was pretty seemed genuine, and I don't think her tunnel of me is born from ill intent.

Honestly I don't know who I'll prioritize next if Epi and Marmot are both town. Maybe I'll figure that out if/when we get to that point.
