The warriors woke up. Each one of them quickly dressed up, grabbed their armor and weapons and ran to the meeting run, before even taking breakfast. They had to be sure everyone was still there.

Fortunately, they were. All seven of them.

However, the cleric of Odin was there too, with an announcement. The statue had generated another orb, and given it to a new warrior. Which meant another target to be protected. And another traitor to be found.

My plan was to come home early Friday afternoon (for we are able to do that since the campus gets disinfected Fridays) and participate in an ordinary manner. That got upended due to a barrage of moderator / administrative Syndicate work.

I didn't know Eoosa had the most votes until exactly five minutes before the deadline. I didn't care that and went back to what I had to do.

I wasn't demoralized. I was disinterested.

I don't know. This is the first time I've sat down to look at this, and here I am finding myself uncomfortable due to the nature of the recent conversations around here regarding other issues.

I am not Eoosa's teammate. But I was the moderator in the game in which Eoosa declared to quit The Syndicate. I believe I can say that since it's public knowledge. Was Eoosa thrown under the bus in the wake of that? I don't know. Was Eoosa given a "mercy lynch" in the wake of that? I don't know. It weighs on me.

All of this has left a bad taste in my mouth.

hmm, i find people who take a step back from their usual erratic posting style to be mafia-leans to me because it's hard to replicate that carefree posting style as mafia. i can post a lot as town, i can never post as much as mafia simply because i have the game solved. especially in a setup like this one where there's no 3p hunting or second mafia team where i can blend.
