Because I would be surprised if mafia!lc has the motivation to act in this way when likely inevitably being baked regardless. That behavior, that he's trying to solve while progressing towards being baked rather than anti-spewing, trolling, etc, along with the fact he claimed vt, which I wouldn't expect from scum him, makes me think he's town

Personally I don't think he's been very scummy but some people I am townreading who know him very well are sure that he is. I'm actually not sure his reaction was incredulous ENOUGH given the circumstances. Like he got snarky but if I'm town with 7 votes on d1 after posting fuck all I would be a sight more snarkier. I also think Ellie is scummier than him and have grown weary that we're looking at Alison's scumgame and they're both voting him.

nutella's play feels to me like a person who is following the development of the game, seeing it coalesce around an early consensus, and doing her part to promote that. there's a certain energy in this thread right now, and not everyone has it. the ones that do have it are town reads.

It's hard to verbalize. I just read your posts and my gut reaction is to feel that they're manipulative.

This verbatim is why u think JJJ looked bad. He’s looked better recently, but all of his early game reads felt off.

I don’t have anything fool proof or emperical, but this is the strongest I got. Of all the players I’ve read, JJJ and Michelle read the scummiest. I get bad vibes from reading their post.
I didn’t like how Michelle was catching up on the game early on, it read stiff just like how JJJ read early game.

I understand why for a lot of people more content=more confident reads, but Ellie's other games were decently low volume, so I don't see how this isn't at least a little overwhelming. This is supported by the fact her town reads didn't have much depth.
