The moment when Nutella mocked me and said i can start lolcatting is forgotten but i just answered at what she said and now @nutella says I was lolcatting like it was my desire to do so.

This way of presenting the reality is for town like fooling themselves and for scum a very good play. I am not considering this a good play though.
I know Nutella as a good player, and I doubt very much she would play like this as villager.
For me she is mafia because she doesn't re-evaluate and she is rigid in reads.
She should notice that Long Con is villager but she didn't.

I currently have Grogu as more town than Koba.

I sort of think that Koba would be more active/pushy about reads if they were a wolf, just because they'd be buried the deepest out of all the wolves and have to do something to help their team. Either they use their clout to try to crack the towncore by raising tinfoil, or they bury a teammate and go deep. They haven't really done either. They've just been content gliding along and doing their own thing, which points to no agenda to me. So Koba is still just town for me.

Sure, that makes sense and I still have them as town. Grogu is just a slightly stronger townread at the moment.

My issue with Nutella is the certainty they have shown this game, meanwhile no mafia has died yet.

The strength and confidence they are showing in these reads don't feel genuine when you look at the reasoning for the read. If I shared that logic, my level of confidence would be fairly low.

That's just how I am with certain reads. I get that people don't vibe with me saying Michelle "literally outed" but that's legitimately the feeling I got from many of her posts last night. She did actually claim scum a couple times and post jokey cat pictures and those posts all boosted my confidence that she is just mafia. Think what you want but it's the impression I got.

If you are town, then you should probably rethink how you play this aspect of the game. All this fraudulent confidence does is make you look scummy and make you biased toward a read when it's not as good as you think

What do you think is different about nutella's suspicion of you than someone else who views you as a suspect that you don't disbelieve, like myself?

Nutella really pocketed me as wolf in the hydra mash, in a very open and shameless way.
I suspect she would not do this in a position she scum vs me town again, but adopt a different stance. If you look at her read progression on me you will see is not natural. At least this is my feeling.
She know how to read me well, however she distorted my meta and stretched it at whim.
SPF went to bed with my wagon at 7 people. She knows better.
In all my wagon the other player who feels like scum is Esooa and this is my Poe.

a couple of assorted thoughts from my catch-up:

-i said as much last night, but i feel pretty good about esooa being town. i feel that her town equity has increased significantly today for a number of reasons

-the biggest issue i take with michelle is that her reads feel "static" in a way that strikes me as very inauthentic. there have been a couple of moments throughout the last few pages where she says "maybe im wrong" or "i could be misreading", but she always circles back to confidently scumreading the exact team of me/esooa/nutella. it's very hard for me to believe that michelle would genuinely have that thought process as town, and that it would be a thought process that remains so stagnant and so stubborn as the day goes on

that said, one thing that makes me worried about michelle is the level of ATE she's put into this game. i don't have a good frame of reference for how much michelle utilizes ATE as scum, but the attacks she's gone on here have felt so wildly personal. a couple of pages ago, she outright said that nutella wasn't her friend because she wasn't seriously reconsidering her (which, upon second thought, is not the type of appeal that is internally consistent with someone who believes that nutella is definitely mafia pushing on her in bad faith. that type of ATE assumes that nutella is town - which contradicts with the attitude michelle has otherwise taken toward nutella). i don't know, her emotional appeals seem extreme to me, and there are a couple of posts that make me doubt myself, but holistically, her reads just do not feel like they're coming from the mindset of someone who genuinely wants to solve and figure out the game

-a number of made's posts today have felt explicitly like they are made for the sake of WIFOM. i'll have to dig up specific examples of this, but there are quite a few posts where i feel as though made's primary intent is to play mind games/spew certain players as certain alignment. i've had trouble getting in lockstep with made's thought process throughout this entire game, and i feel that to an even more extreme extent today

-grogu is still in my POE, but his town equity increased slightly. perhaps i should have trusted in the baby yoda all along.

-i feel "messy" this game, and i don't like it. my reads as town are usually well-organized & well-sorted, but my reads in this game feel like a thousand monkeys in my brain frantically begging for my attention. it's easy for me to shift from one world to another in my gamesolving because i don't feel as though i have a concrete "foundation" for my game like i usually do. i don't know if i'm just having a bad game or if there's something specific about the gamestate that's making it more difficult for me to trust in myself. regardless, i want to rectify this if i'm still alive tomorrow and figure out what's been causing this mental block.

my strongest townreads are nutella, tutuu, and esooa. the tier slightly below that is jagged, nanook, and alison. my POE broadly aligns with the consensus, but i am considering a world where a deepwolf may exist

Possibly in part because I don’t actually feel super strongly about most of my reads

I’m pretty much just taking a backseat and seeing if the current leaders push us to scum, if they don’t then I’ll try to course correct when it’s needed. Idk if that’s the correct way to play this game but it’s how I’m playing it anyways
