DOOM and Grogu move around a bit, but this is roughly where I have them at right now. JJJ has been too in-sync with me today for me to leave him out of the towncore, and I don't think mafia is in a good enough position that they can afford to just have the exact same stance as me to pocket me. If JJJ is scum he has to push his own agenda, not just sheep me. I've had a couple of interactions with SPF that make me more confident about her, and that's why she's knocking at the towncore's door. I particularly liked the "chill" vibe I got from her when I quizzed her about how she feels about people not clearing her.

The first dive is going to be on Koba. As I do this Koba currently has 328 posts. This will be important because during my dives I like to include a breakdown of numbers.

First I will layout the posts by day that Koba has had so far. Day 0 (65) Day 1 (74) Day 2 (162) Day 3 (current day) Koba has shown a consistent uptick in posts as more information has entered the game, and is currently posting during Day 3 as well.
Now I will go through every town/mafia read that Koba has had at points in this game.

Starting with town reads Koba has posted Day 0 (None Posted).

Okay I have some personal comments I want to make after reading the ISO.
First I want to breakdown their reads based on the current evaluation I have in this game. I have Nutella/Tutuu/Esooa/Made/Michelle as town. Ellie and Long Con are flipped town. Koba has either voted or spent time trying to talk about why these people should be baked. In my eyes Koba has made seven pushes, and all on towns using my reads.
Another big red flag for me is the fact that Koba has not spent any time finding town this game and has only given a single semi town read on SPF. This doesn’t seem to be the way I have seen them play town, which was once.
The last point I want to talk about is the fact that Koba often asked people to post a reads list, and was getting annoyed at several players not giving their reads clearly. Though Koba did not post a single reads list the entire game, and I had to read things slowly to get their reads.

Personal conclusion is likely mafia.

This is logical, i am going to read further, but i wanted to say to Omega that i read this post and i appreciate her work

genuine advice, I promise I don't intend this as belittling you of your skill level or anything, just an honest gameplay tip from someone who's played on lots of sites (and to be frank this is something I've only really internalized myself pretty recently, absolutely no shame in it)

when you are playing on a site for the first time and there is a player that all of the site regulars have a strong townread on, just sheep them. I know it's frustrating when you have a pet scumread and think nobody else is seeing it, and yes there are cases where it can be that a fresh set of eyes unbiased by meta can actually catch someone from that perspective, but it's much, much more likely that the familiar people are just right. And what's more it's literally game optimal to sheep the common townread because it will generally self-resolve -- if there's no opposition, that player will likely be nightkilled and boom you don't have to worry about tinfoiling them anymore. But creating opposition means the mafia can keep that player around and let you continue your pet push, detracting from the real hunt.

@MacDougall I have a problem with you pretending like like me having one read you disagreed with means I'm scum. It felt townie in the moment to me, and nanook thought the same thing as well. I've explained my thought process behind it and walked you through my progression. Please stop pretending that town Alison would "never have a read that bad" because we both know I've had reads you hated when I was town.

I don't think Alison knows how wide is Esooa's scum range because from my POV even Esooa doesn't know it.

Alison's progression on Ellie went from lock town to slightly softened, to voting, with no in-between. No effort to engage her. No effort to make a case. Its almost townie cuz of how sloppy it would be for her. But we don't outthink ourselves with Alison.

Get out of your tunnel and step into my shoes for one minute. There are 3 people who are remotely possible to die today, and who I would find a palatable exe: Made, LC, Ellie (I guess Grogu is there, but I don't want a Grogu exe because it's a cop out and doesn't resolve any of the current controversies). I am jet lagged and juggling various IRL responsibilities. I wake up at 3PM, come online, and see that LC is acting in a way that 1) isn't congruent with his previous scum play and 2) lessens his partner equity with Esooa. I read it as townie overall, and switch to Ellie, who has been fairly quiet and is being deathtunnelled by Esooa (who I townread).

In this position, I'm not gonna bother writing a huge case wall on Ellie. I'm just going to vote her because she's the logical choice if I'm not feeling an LC exe and Made didn't have any traction. Context matters and just because I'm headstrong as town doesn't mean that any time I take a softer approach I'm automatically scum. I got mistunnelled for that shit in Hydra G5 and I expect you to know me better than that.

don't have a ton of time to give my two cents right now, but i'm coming closer to a jagged!town world - and i'm not sure what that means for my read on alison. if i ignore the prospect of hunting for partners, then alison remains an appealing vote. i am struggling, however, to find a team for alison that i feel makes a comfortable fit

would appreciate it if we didn't end the day until the deadline - i'd like to take some time tomorrow to gather my thoughts and leave some legacy stuff
