It's always hard to tell with non-participants, especially erratic ones like INH. He could be a baddie laying low, he could have just gotten bored and wandered off. I am a little wary because of what happened with Vomps, but I find the fact that he was relying on a legitimate real life excuse that has now disappeared without a corresponding change in behavior suspicious.

I'm not going to highlight everyone here, but I'll go over the people I do have somewhat concrete thoughts and ideas on. And I'll do it alphabetically, because I like organization in my mafia!

Dom - I think he's being sincere about being busy IRL, and has been as active as his time has allowed. I really don't find all of his questions suspicious, because that's generally how he plays. I think Dom likes to take the temperature of the room every so often, so to speak. However, if most or all of those quotes/questions that llama pulled up are all one-liners, and Dom isn't contributing his own thoughts (I feel like he has), then I would start to feel more suspicious of him.

Epignosis - Rob is generally a very hard person to read, although he does have several tells (no, I will not share them :P) if he is bad. I don't see those here though. In fact, I see a fairly normal Epig right now. I think he's going after people because he genuinely finds them suspicious. And I don't think he's using thread evidence in a way that it's setting people up for future events or potential targets, so I feel like he's civ for now.

INH - He's really dropped off my radar. I know he said he was busy with hosting that other game, and I can understand that. But if that game has indeed ended, I would expect to see him becoming more active again. That doesn't feel good to me at all.

K4J - I was all gung-ho to vote for him today, but some of his defenses are making me back off and wonder. Mostly because they seem really genuine to me. If he is bad, I think it's far more likely that he is a Town Goblin than Smaug.

Metalmarsh - Next time you have a forced vote, dude, try to make it a little less obvious. If we can figure it out by reading between the lines, that's fine. But don't make it so blatant next time plskthx.

I don't think you are paying attention to my posts. I said it was just a comeback about shady people amongst the boogs voters. As a boogs voter myself i just said it back about the AP voters with no one in mind in particular.

However, there are two people that I am wondering about more than K4J. They are insertnamehere and Snow Dog. I am not sure that just because Turnip Head was bad that means that Snow Dog is good.

In addition, I feel that INH has created this false equivalency between the case on him and the case on Boogs. INH instantly flew off the handle for being "hounded". However, the facts are not on his side. INH has not received nearly as many votes, he has not been discussed nearly as much, there has not been nearly as much attention, and his name has been brought up while he falls to the shadows. I'd admit that the amount of "hounding" was not as extreme as in Boog's case, but it was in the same nature. I didn't mean that I was being "hounded" as much as Boogs, I just thought it was similar to what he claimed. I am, of course, referring to this post.
Llama, his participation has also dropped off significantly. INH has not posted a remotely on topic response since Day 7 (when Boogs has brought him up and he made that erroneous post I talked about).

Snow Dog probably thinks he's off the hook. And I've noticed here on this site that sometimes players don't post much if they don't have to defend themselves.

That's why it is good to make cases that people have to defend against, like I did with Dom, and like you refused to do with Epig.

I was all set on a K4J lynch, but his defense was strong enough to change my mind. Then I was all set for a Dom lynch, and once again, he came across as sincere and genuine, so that I no longer want to lynch him.

Now I am leaning either in INH's direction or in Kyle's direction, based on the case Rob made about him.

I usually post and vote in a thread a few hours before the poll ends. See any game I have ever played for proof. So, me checking in on the thread before a lynch, seeing that people have suspicions of me, and then responding to those suspicions, is suspicious to you?

In addition, your post on Epig caught my eye because NO ONE had jumped onto a case about Epig. It wasn't gaining much traction. That wasn't how you were treating it at all.

Why haven't you been posting since about Day 7? Why do you refuse to participate when your name isn't being brought up? Why do you seem to be looking for the easy way out of everything in this game?

Why do you treat every point against you like an unfair attack? Why do you act like people are ganging up on you when they aren't? Why do you act as if the points against you are moot rather than addressing them?

I know llama agrees with your "why sign up if you're not going to play?" because he is quite vocal of that and so do I, but I have counterargued with him before that some people have busy RL (I understand after going through tax season), they still want to play, but maybe can't check in with the same kind of frequency as others, or maybe are particularly busy while D0/D1 is happening, so typically I think it makes more sense to vote for a no/low poster later on in the game (or like you said, unless there's honestly nothing else to go on). And let's be honest here, some people just have more talkative game styles than others.

So those are all things to consider.

Usually in big games like these, I sit back and watch for the first few cycles, and then presumably if I'm not eliminated, I start posting more and more. I like to get an idea of the dynamic of the game before I completely dive in.

That being said, I agree with FZ. To me it looked like MP was just making a suggestion to vote a NP if no clear candidate is revealed, which happens often on this site. The fact that K4J immediately jumped on that makes me a bit nervous.

This hasn't happened. INH is still around and it's Day 9, but he's posted less frequently.

Here, INH named two Mafia teammates in one sentence. This was regarding a staged debate between MP and FZ.

I have a weak Day 1 suspicion of her. Probably not worth voting, but I have my eye on her.

Now, as has been pointed out, INH claimed he had been busy hosting on June 16, but his game had ended June 14.

INH's game began June 5 (having been in sign ups since May 23). From the sign-up thread, INH said this:

That was on the evening of June 5th. On June the 2nd and 3rd, INH said this:

I know llama agrees with your "why sign up if you're not going to play?" because he is quite vocal of that and so do I, but I have counterargued with him before that some people have busy RL (I understand after going through tax season), they still want to play, but maybe can't check in with the same kind of frequency as others, or maybe are particularly busy while D0/D1 is happening, so typically I think it makes more sense to vote for a no/low poster later on in the game (or like you said, unless there's honestly nothing else to go on). And let's be honest here, some people just have more talkative game styles than others.

So those are all things to consider.

Usually in big games like these, I sit back and watch for the first few cycles, and then presumably if I'm not eliminated, I start posting more and more. I like to get an idea of the dynamic of the game before I completely dive in.

That being said, I agree with FZ. To me it looked like MP was just making a suggestion to vote a NP if no clear candidate is revealed, which happens often on this site. The fact that K4J immediately jumped on that makes me a bit nervous.

This hasn't happened. INH is still around and it's Day 9, but he's posted less frequently.

FZ and MP's big show was a main topic of the thread. Me responding to it, and taking a side on it means next to nothing.
