There is a wolf role that has two kills. I am assuming that is the one that acted. Perhaps MR is that role and put KP on Esooa and Nanook and the actual redirector redirected Esooa to Dyachei?

That doesn't make a great deal of sense though I don't think, unless esooa is literally the redirector, but that makes even less sense.

I also assume that if MR is real then by forcing Esooa to target Nanook, if Esooa was carrying double KP then only Nanook would have died. So Esooa probably wasn't carrying KP.

And if Esooa wasn't carrying KP then why would the mafia put other power onto Nanook?

There is a role that starts with the scion and can hand it over. It's possible that the mafia got two kills from that. Especially if that person handed the scion to the mafia. They would always just hand the scion to a town who is about to die.
