What was Hyenas claim?

A role that could choose one person from the living to talk to a dead person each night. I thought it was a town role at first because of what it was but someone brought up that there was a role like that that was scum and I wanted to know if Hyena's role was specifically based on that scum role.

This "scumslip" tilts me a little bit. I've tried really hard to communicate clearly this game especially with my PoE status and I swear I did not scumslip and I'm not scum.

Oh I just realised something. Y'all talking about Hyena's role like it was the Pirate role. It's just DDL's role from U-Pick. Which was a scum role. DDL early claimed it and used it to live the longest of all the mafia. The role was literally a scum role in U-Pick.

Why did nobody mention this? Did it have the same flavor in U-Pick?

Yes, that's what I was doing. I wanted to know if Hyena's flavor was based on the scum role but I also forgot whether that exact role had been scum in a different game or only a similar role. I also want to know if Raifiki's original role is anything like Hyena's role here (if not it might be fakeclaim flavor). If nobody will answer my question I guess I'll just dig through past games myself.

both also very small games / short isos but i do feel like the scum iso shows the most similarity to their posts here. in like...general postshape. like they feel the need to say more things and comment on various topics idk. my vote is staying just from looking at these 8ball posts

I read those ISOs and I think what sticks out is that Cat's scum ISO feels way more terse and explainy than any of their town games. In their town games they're okay with going off one small reason for a vote but as scum they feel like they have to overexplain everything. They also feel less comfortable as scum. (wrote this before I looked at Cat this game)

Cat this game is more similar to their scum ISO. I kinda thought they were a random LHF before but they do show the same patterns of being uncomfortable and more explainy with their suspicions than as town. They can be scum.

thanks! yeah I didn't see it. I suspect Hyena more for that then since Hyena's claim is completely different from the original role and there was a scum role that was Hyena's. Also I wouldn't expect town to claim with 48 hours left in the day when they risk being soup killed. I'm not going to vote Hyena today incase he gets soupkilled tonight but I skimmed his ISO and I suspect him.
