I'm like ~fine with sloonei's case on hyena, I had a pretty strong sr of hyena early on and agree the claim isn't super ai. I have seen some potential for townieness in hyena's later engagement though and feel a lot more strongly about cat for today.

Scanning Thunal's more recent output. I have an easier time seeing town in Thunal than in Hyena, if I'm choosing between the two of them. Posts like the following reflect something of an earnest civilian mindset to me:

From a mechanical standpoint Hyena's role would make more sense as a town role and be almost entirely protown. It would be possible to use such a role in a way that benefits mafia but in general it would benefit town a lot more.

a role mechanically benefitting town is a good motivation to make it mafia-aligned so that people townread it, just like you are wanting to do . there's your mafia benefit to the role

(im not saying hyena is necessarily scum for that role but i think townreading the mechanics of the role is a mistake even if he's town)

In Shadow Corridors (when Falcon was town friendly 3p) he was obvtown (well, obv not mafia) pretty early on and he was aggressive in his pushes. Him pushing MR and Nanook here kind of feels like an imitation of that aggressiveness but without the prodding and more thought out reasoning he had in Shadow Corridors.

Okay this interaction I found suspicious for MR. It reminds me of a wolf omgusing on a target that doesn't actually make sense. I find it hard to believe that MR genuinely wolfreads Nutella considering how clearly town she is today, I think he's using his annoyance at being treated unfairly to make a push that sounds more believable since he has real emotion behind it. I know I've done that as mafia even when my target didn't make sense and I know others have done that.

I particularly like the evidence of an open mindset in being able to criticize falcon for his Radish suspicion, while also entertaining her own suspicion (feat. a vote) against Radishes. A wolf in that position might be wary of discrediting their own Radish case by critiquing falcon. But this is also an issue where the potential for multiball makes things murky. If I look at this sequence at face value, I would call it a mildly good look for Thunal.

I do not know what the larger case against Thunal is. I had my vote on her based on an early interaction that I don't think anybody else cares about. Mac was going on about his thing last night, but I'm not sold on that. It appears dya has been all over thunal, so I guess I'll take a look there.

No i haven't, i've made walls consistantly and the post i left off at was Dyslexicon snapping back at someone. (I forgot who ) From what i can tell the people voting me didn't like my response to MacDougall so i can't say anyone is wolfy. I don't get pinged when i'm voted so i don't know the context.
On the wagon i have a slight scumread on Nutella, and townread on tutuu. Everyone else is either a mixed bag or i have pretty much no opinion on. Like i said the most important people are the people off wagon or dancing around suspiciously and that is where town usually ignores since they are too focused on "wow, voting townie, there must be scum there".

it's more formal, there's no relaxation evident. usually when thunal posts in other games I can see her warming up to playing and she gets more comfortable as she plays. here I'm just seeing that "discomfort" stick around. she doesnt have that spark of excitement she gets when she starts solving something. she's solving her but it feels like she's just going through the motions

I acknowledge this and register it as an argument against Thunal, but it does not resonate with me. I do not have enough experience playing with Thunal (I believe we have just one game together and I was a big bad wolf, so I wasn't exactly trying to read her) for these observations to mean a whole lot to me.

Is there anything more tangible we can point to for a thunal case? @everyone, not just dya.
