my first impression from the made flip was that chop looked town from it

if chop is scum he is enclave because of the message thing. if chop/made are enclave/enclave then enclave always votes to kill chop over made, since made was vanillaizer + ninja and that's way better than commuter, as well as chop in general just being more distrusted and having less influence on the thread than made.

so from that logic I think if chop is scum we'd expect to find enclave on the chop wagon. the problem is that chop's wagon is Made, nook, myself, TSP and KZA. Made had to vote the counterwagon so that doesn't tell us anything. It is mechanically impossible for me or KZA to be enclave. I highly doubt that TSP is enclave with Chop. Nook buried Made so I doubt Nook is enclave either.

so enclave isn't on the chop wagon and enclave would be on the chop wagon if chop was mafia.

the obvious question is "if mafia would bus chop to save made, why wouldn't mafia kill town chop to save made", and the answer is that they'd out their whole team if they led a wagon onto chop and he flipped town, but if chop flips mafia then everyone's happy and nobody's going to question it too much.

The thing about the "why does Chop do this if he is scum" arguments is this. What if he *is* town? He's never getting NKed. We can't have him around at FX. Disclaimer: The spoiler likely does not hold everything TSP has said about Chop Chop directly or indirectly, but probably has like 80% of it or more.

Thoughts:

1) I honestly can't say TSP's handling of Chop Chop is super townie. A lot of it is just re-reading a scum-read he has on him and emphasizing that. Aside from the whole message thing there isn't any real direct reasoning as far as I can tell in the spoiler above as to why Chop Chop is scum.

2) That said, I do feel a select few statements in there (colored pinkish by me) are unlikely to have been made by a wolf.

3) I probably should look into other avenues as to what TSP has been doing, as it could arguably be scummy if so few slots have caught his attention but him having enough time to make 420ish posts by SoD4, and it should be noted that TSP made a lot of posts or the above spoiled quotes on Chop on March 4th, or early/mid D2 (I'm in EDT, so it may look different dep. on timezone).

If anything, it may be significant that he pushes heavily in that timeframe with the wagon grows big, but it is strange that he was open to Rej being eliminated at EoD despite being quite seemingly certain that Chop is a wolf.

In fact, looking at his motivations for voting Rej, its almost a pure if not complete Alison sheep (Alison quotes in Teal):

If Chop /weren't/ enclave you'd also expect enclave to be on his wagon. There's almost no difference in the counterfactual.

I think Made wasn't long for this world regardless of what happened.

Therefore they had to know Made would flip enclave eventually and the wagon war with Chop would be scrutinized.

This means anyone caught voting Chop would be under heavy suspicion of Chop was town. But if Chop flipped mafia then it would be a wash and you'd look a lot better.

Therefore enclave would be a lot more likely to vote Chop if Chop was enclave, paradoxically enough.

I actually took a sort of emergency break from D3 for like the latter 3/5ths of it.

I didn't see much either, but the only interesting thing I saw was at some point Marmot made a LC push,

and at one point with Mac self-voting, we had a 5-5-5 tie with Chop/Doomade/Macdougall

(You can find the 5-5-5 tie quickly in the LC iso as he had colored it)

Well, the 2nd point I can understand, but honestly the Enclave is a big faction. There's already 4 dead Wastelander civvies, and possibly more alive. Which implies there may be at least 3 more Enclave. They have multiple players each with self-conscious/survival interests competing with each other as the Enclave inherently can't afford to lose its members unless it benefited them.

The issues that threaten Enclave members (which is each member's self-interest in existing to kill town) most will be competing for the Enclave kill unless they're reasonably safe enough as to use the kill for WIFOM or somthing.

We also know that when Nook pressured DOOM with a claimed red check on her, her response was to put her nose up in the air, act as though she was too imperious to pay attention to the game, and promptly gallop away into the sunset. We also know that when Made subbed into the game, he was very very cagey about making a claim and seemed to be trying to stall for time while he chats to his scum mates in BTSC to come up with a plan.

Taken as a cohesive whole, these behaviors indicate that Urist and DOOM/Made were not engaging in planned scum theater together. If they did not engage in planned scum theater together then Urist is not scum with DOOM/Made. Hence Urist is probably not enclave.

Chop was considered outed wolf by like, most people in the game (except a couple of players like Urist and Mac). If he flipped town, nobody looks scummy. They just shrug and go "yeah, Chop was scummy as fuck, what do you want from me". Even if Chop is town, I'm unconvinced there was any concerted effort to avoid the bad optics of being on his wagon - at least not on Day 2. Day 3 is more interesting, since the counterwagon is a wolf, so there's a lot more to read into and the optics are far worse.
