Re: Bee Mafia [DAY 1]
Here LC does all but admit that he didn't have an actual reason and was weaving a false narrative.
Kyle mentions "hey, town sometimes do this RD1 to generate conversation."
Ok, sure I can see that.
But here we have Alison bring up writing style analysis as a legit way to make reads, and LC approves.
Here's the kicker, you can't have it both ways. Either you're making up narrative early on to stir up conversation, or you're legit analyzing writing to scum hunt. LC's just going with whichever way the wind blows, he doesn't have conviction in his approach.

Re: Bee Mafia [DAY 1]
For the reason in the post you quoted. Because Bo's reaction is tempered in a very hard-to-fake way, not overreacting and shrinking away too much, and no false bravado at the same time. Just gives a quiet "wtf" and moves on with his life.Alison wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 9:03 pmIf they are wolves together they are faking a fight to distance.c4e5g3d5 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 12:53 pmBo is actually getting confused and overwhelmed by Seanzie's questioning in real time. Not w/w, sorry Alison.falcon45ca wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 12:51 pmInteresting take. What's your take-away from his interactions with BK if Seanzie is Maf?
Why do you think this is not a faked fight?
Oh but mainly Bo is towny and the reason you have to call them w/w is pretty hardcore reachy.

Re: Bee Mafia [DAY 1]
Because I believe the first two mafia are BK and Seanzie, and if BK and Seanzie are mafia then they entered the thread by loudly distancing. And if they entered the thread by loudly distancing it suggests that their third member is afk and probably someone neither of them know. You and ts account fit that bill; for instance I don't think BK and Seanzie would play this day the way they did if Esooa or Nanook was the third. fingersplints is a candidate but they're sufficiently townie that they aren't my highest suspect.
Now this relies on a few assumptions so I wasn't as confident that it had to be exactly you two. But luckily your beetlejuice has affirmed my suspicions on you, so I feel good that I'm on the right track.

Re: Bee Mafia [DAY 1]
It is within BK's scum range to go for a distancing play out the gate as scum, but he wouldn't default to it unless he has an impetus to. If he has two active teammates posting in the thread, I tend to believe he'd try to blend in more and go for a UTR strategy while his teammates (Seanzie and Esooa in this case) set the pace of the game. Furthermore, he's never played with Seanzie before afaik, and if the third was someone like nook or falcon he'd definitely favor interacting and chilling with them over distancing from Seanzie.
So, if BK and Seanzie are scum together and pulling a distancing strat, it suggests that BK feels alienated from the third teammate, which in turn suggests an afk and/or someone strange to BK.

Re: Bee Mafia [DAY 1]
So I'mma throw out a scumread on Alison with a tinfoil that Alison/LC are teamed.
I don't have a lot of experience with Alison, but I saw her play a game as town where she very confidently put together a PoE of 4 people on D1 (there were 4 scum in the setup), and 3 out of the 4 were scum. She did this by quickly town-clearing many people, and then everyone that was left was scum. She bragged about having something like an 80% hit rate on her reads, and while I didn't really believe her at the time, the proof was there after the dust had settled and everyone's alignments were known.
Here, she is taking a very different approach, and one that I don't think at all is in the same style as how she approached that game. First, I don't see her trying to townclear people at all right now. Second, her whole scumhunt right now hinges on the idea that I am scum, which I know is false. She is making huge leaps from here (BK and I must be scum, therefore Ratrug is scum because BK wouldn't play this way if I was scum and Nook or Esooa were too, etc). If she is town, she might be lucking into a correct read on BK or Ratrug, but her reasoning is wrong, and thus in terms of actually catching scum for the right reasons, she is shooting 0% right now, while not townhunting at all. I'd guess with how good she actually is, this is scum-indicative.
The LC thing really is just tinfoil and I don't give this theory a lot of weight, so please take it for what it is worth. It is reaching, but it seems like if I am right about Alison, and Alison is acting this way, I have possibly been chosen as wolfbait, and so LC's somewhat controversial "calm my qualms" read might be indicative of a teammate of Alison helping to shade me. Esooa I suppose could also kind of fit this bill, but Esooa's suspicions on me felt reasonably genuine, whereas I cannot say the same for LC's.

If you're trying to argue that I'm scum because I'm playing differently from Spank! then you're completely outed. Also if you're desperate enough to try 1v1ing me on page 6 then it means I'm probably right about your team.
