Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 7]
I get that it's suboptimal to yeet a townie to fulfill other townie win cons while mafia are still unresolved, but so is yeeting Alison imo.

I mean I want you dead but I'm not going to do it because I don't have a shot (if I did I would have shot someone I needed dead). That doesn't stop me from trusting you.
There's nothing that says a fake can't surpass the real thing.

Well, BoS and Redding both have met their alternate win cons with Alison alive, so they don't need her dead. I think you're the only one, or anyone in Arroyo really.

like i don't mean to make it weird i'm mostly just mentioning all this so the mafia will consider not killing me in the hopes that i help them out by accident.
outside from yeeting the enclave and slaver my fate is largely out of my hands, and even if i end up in the position to do so, i don't intend on yeeting marmot.

I think LC only needs me dead, not Alison. And even then, if I'm the only Hubo, he actually doesn't.

It looks like I probably won’t be present to officially end the day. I will arrange to have the thread locked and result posted. In case there is a delay, please refrain from posting after 7:00 PM EDT. Anticipate all normal night phase times to remain as they’ve been. I will only change that if absolutely necessary. Thanks for your continued patience folks.

Why are all of you voting Slaver? From what I can tell based on your claims, this is not in line with your wincon, so y'all better have good explanations for your thinking.
@TonyStarkPrime Is your alignment known? If so, what is it? Is Slaver death part of your wincon? If not, please also answer the question above.
I feel like Marmot and LC should be more or less clear off this since they are voting to narrow the Enclave PoE, whereas I'd guess some people voting for Alison are doing it to avoid narrowing the Enclave PoE.

as you presumably know, the slaver essentially counts as a number for the wolves and removing them from the game does not change the number of chops we have within the PoE. I would argue that, conversely, Marmot and LC should be considered suspicious for voting to do anything that is not kill someone who is arguably a flipped wolf

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 7]
The slaver is not a wolf in any way shape or form though. We don't need to kill the slaver to win, and if it was LYLO, the slaver could only wolf-side if their wincon was satisfied, so while their wincon is not satisfied, the slaver has to be more or less neutral, and after their wincon is satisfied, the slaver is not beholden to either team, and will just try to end the game asap.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 5:41 pmkilling the slaver gives me the ability to not play the game on the weekend.Seanzie wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 3:43 pm @Urist @Grogu @Jackofhearts2005 @MartinGG99 @sprityo

Also, the slaver adds restrictions to what the wolves can do. If the wolves aren't reasonably siding with the slaver, the slaver will probably start turning on them. If they wolves are siding with the slaver, this limits their options for who they can NK, and may force them to NK less favorable choices.

Also, it is very clear at this point that Alison does not have a shot left, where Frank may still have a shot. For us to not try to lunch Frank is extremely bad for town right now.Seanzie wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 5:47 pmThe slaver is not a wolf in any way shape or form though. Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 7]
No. If Alison had a shot left after being outed yesterday, she would have used it last night to PROVE that she didn't have a shot left, since that makes her less of a threat to town, and more easily ignorable.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 5:51 pm it should be as clear that frank does not have a shot remaining as it is that alison does not have a shot, no?
Frank on the otherhand might be waiting for full claims to pick a good target, or to see if there are any protects left. He probably doesn't have a shot, but the chances of him having a shot are much higher than Alison at this point.

I’m sorry guys and gals. I think best case is to kill me here but let’s plan next steps.
We can win. I will win most likely, I am leaving tomorrow night and won’t have access to my phone for a bit.
I won a track a few nights ago and never used. I used it last night as I previously hinted I had saved a power, it was not my own.
Which means either we have an inventor or scum had an inventor and they were nice enough to gift it. This whole time I thought it was Alison or marmot but they claimed something else. Epi role was hidden so I thought maybe epi and that’s why he scum read me since I never gave the result to his gift? Idk.
I tracked sprit last night and is good...

No they could have shot epi and cop marmot or sometching else like disrupt his role etc.

and do we have an explanation on the prior two results or are we just pretending those don't exist
Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 7]
Which results? Falcon was annoying me and I had a strong scum read on him.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 6:15 pm and do we have an explanation on the prior two results or are we just pretending those don't exist
He pushed and voted Alison and hinted at knowing her role, I liked Alison a lot and smelled a setup.
All I said was I knowwhat you did and noticed how he panicked and didn’t know if I watched or tracked. Falcon himself and others gave hints and he fucked up, he started to act super caught and eventually died.
Noticed I never claimed an actual power. The following night I got a track gifted, I saved it to catch someone.
The chop stuff he was so outed and wolfy, I wanted him to die already. Tbh I cannot remember what I said about him. Someone else I trusted had a result and I just went with it. I had no information on him other than wanting him dead for days and him talking himself out of it. I wanted to nail his coffin that’s all.
My issue is I wanted to die early by scum killing me thinking I was a power role. I get to post as dead but I don’t count for parity. I think scum already knew this, I’m sure they copped me early and knew I was full of shit. How I know?
Chop kept hinting at it and telling me I had no results and I was full of shit. He KNEW!

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 7]
Did they hinted at it or made it clear? I asked 10 times and they didn’t tell me
