I mean I can see a scenario where I'm mafia and quin would call me out on something like that as distancing or something, but I think in that scenario I'd check in btsc and ask if he was cool? as it was I thought he was legitimately upset at me for not living up to my old self and it left me with sort of a sour feeling.

and my townread just went down the proverbial. it's day 1. nobody is going to take you up on this offer. offering to lynch yourself provides nothing of value and only serves to lure in sympathy.

This interaction is weird if they're teammates. Seanzie as scum there is almost certainly trying to get townread via emotion and a willingness to die; why does his teammate dismantle his narrative like that?

I don't have a ton of experience with nook mafia but I remember him forcefully trying to push out of the POE in Philosopher's Mafia, citing night actions that looked good for him. So it is within his scum range to try to bust the POE open and just hope the scum doesn't notice he's out of his meta. More to the point, if nook is scum here, if he doesn't bust the POE open he really can't win. He has to get 4 misexes in a row and the POE is 3-4 people including him. So it's really hard for nook to win if he just says "whack these 3 and don't think too hard". Yes, WIFOM exists, and he could be doing it to look town, which is why he's still in the POE - but he's a lesser priority.
