Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 0)
An excellent point. The only time I'd tell someone how to play is if they were new and asked me to. I'd possibly tell them if they didn't ask in that scenario, but it wouldn't be phrased as an instruction, rather just friendly advice. A player as experienced as Sorsha probably wouldn't get told what to do and if I were her in such a position I'd probably feel rather offended that a teammate felt I needed to be told how to play.Roxy wrote:I have never had teammates tell me how to play or defend. But I first mentioned suspicions of you yesterday and I wasn't the first. You have had time. You're acting as if you're definitely doomed when the reality is that we've got two hours left and most players haven't said anything in a while. Any of them could come back in and turn the tide. Posts like this won't encourage them to.Sorsha wrote:I really don't have time for all this, I'm at work, it's busy. Voted for myself. Bye.

For there only being two hours left in this poll you'd think there'd be more people here sharing thoughts and casting votes wouldn't you? I intend to give Sorsha until 10:40 my time (an hour before the poll ends) to come back and make a better defense. If not, she gets my vote. Does anyone object?Epignosis wrote:Damn technicalities.Bullzeye wrote:Exactly. Ummmmm.
What just happened with Sorsha?
Also, Bullz: I was totally on board with you being civvish until your last post, and then I got really confused. Why the heck are you asking the thread for their input on whether or not your voting strategy/choices are objectionable??! I have never seen that. I don't know if it makes me think you're bad, but it certainly makes me think you're odd....
Also, I still don't suspect Sorsha and I'm sad that she's frustrated. Bummer. I do think her quip to DH about "getting over it" was interesting, though, and would love to hear some more elaboration on that point from either of the involved parties....

Linki: See above. I feel like the thread is too quiet for the amount of time we have left so I'm literally just throwing out questions in the hope someone will answer. I wasn't so much asking if my strategy was objectionable as asking does anyone think it's a bad idea to vote Sorsha and if so why.

Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 0)
It's probably either SVS or Sorsha for me, especially in light of the recent defeatist responses from Sorsha (and also things others have said that I won't rehash in detail, e.g., being too eager to claim transparency, etc.). I could chalk it up to pure frustration and work, or to a baddie not knowing what else to say in her defense. SVS said she'd be back to give a more thorough defense regarding Keterman's comments, so I'd like to wait a bit for that. However, I do think her behavior is rather...different in this game, as I've stated before. Not sure what that necessarily means alignment-wise, but I'm choosing not to ignore it and see how it plays out in the last bits of the Day.

Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 0)
Certainly, I have been following the thread, and I doubt she is bad, I don't ever recall her making risky moves at the beginning of games when bad, and I have probably played more games with her than i have with anyone else in this thtead. I think she was trying to have gun, and is frustrated. But I don't always read her well, and could be wrong.
Since there was a push in my direction earlier, I would not be surprised to see a flurry of votes for me towards the end. I am gonna hold my vote until closer to the end in case I need to save myself.
Linki, Blooper, you really think my explanation of my vote is unreasonable?

Part of my trepidation in accepting the Sorsha/SVS suspicions was lack of pushback against either of them getting lynched. Boog and Hedge provided some comments that met that criteria I think, so if they (SVS or Sorsha) are bad, then boogs and Hedge might be team mates of either of them trying to steer conversation away.

Just three votes have been cast so far, and only one of those was for you. I probably won't be voting you at this rate, so you've got at least 2 votes separating you and Sorsha. With the amount of people who are currently posting (We've got just over an hour before the poll closes), I don't think you're in any danger today.S~V~S wrote: Since there was a push in my direction earlier, I would not be surprised to see a flurry of votes for me towards the end. Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 0)
The only thing Sorsha's self-vote tells me is that she's not really invested in this game and is too busy to care. Doesn't make me think strongly one way or the other about her alignment. SVS is acting a lot more subtly evasive though, and though she can be tough to read I have a funny feeling about her -- also, if she flips bad I would be more inclined to look at Sorsha as a possible teammate of hers. *Votes SVS* before I forget.

My experience would suggest most people get votes for things they never expected would get them votes... In reference to you asking if others think you're evasive, I'm not yet sure how I feel about you personally but my only strong feeling in this game so far is Sorsha so take that for all it's worth.S~V~S wrote:I did not expect to take votes over this tbh.

Sorry you're in such an inconvenient place to respond! My motion sickness would never allow me to do so, so kudos to you! Some of what he states is the first day puppy vote, which you've addressed many times. He then claims you are being hypocritical later on in the post by accusing Made for voting for nutella for "knowing what's up," even though you had voted for Sorsha for a vague, "silly" reason as well. I'd just like to know why you think it's odd for someone to think your behavior is off with your Day 0 vote, when you seem to find the same behavior in someone else to be lynch-worthy. My apologies if you've explained this before, but I didn't catch the explanation if you went through it in detail.S~V~S wrote:Have I seemed subtly evasive to anyone else?
Linki I said tonight, like after work, but apparently I Am subtly evasive and taking votes for not defending a day zero vote that was a fun thing. What in his post would you like me to address? Your words, on a bus Lol.

Because that sounded like a BTSC slip to me.

Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 0)
Look my stop is soon, and I have to vote. I honestly have no way of knowing, but I don't think she is bad, but since she gave up (trying to avoid subtle evasiveness here) I am gonna vote sorsha.
