Upper POE. Uninspiring posting, some scummy stuff, nothing really outing. Only comment is that if the game goes on a few days and Marmot continues lingering in the upper POE slot coasting along, exe him on policy, his wolf specialty is remaining perpetually the second most attractive exe for the whole game and then winning endgame.

the only thing is that if i accept that the dichotomy of hally/alison is town, then it doesnt leave me with much (or any) room for deepwolves. that bothers me because i am so used to this type of gamestate having multiple buried wolves

It's hard to see game solving happening in his decent load of posts. There are reads, or things resembling reads, hurled into the void here and there, but I couldn't begin to piece together progressions or thought processes or cohesive solving. Sometimes his posts feel like they spring out of a random generator.

I do agree that some of the stuff he says comes out of left field. Is having random ideas/thoughts scum motivated though? My biggest gripe with TSP is that some of his posts just feel like words on paper with little to no meaning.

This is a common content about TSP posts as both alignments. The difference is that when he is town he speaks off the top of his head without filter. When he is scum he tries to fake it by machine gunning non sequiturs into the thread. So far I feel like it's the latter.

I think Hally's posts are a pretty seamless continuation of the previous tutuu aesthetic. So far my read isn't changed, and it was airing cautiously on the town side before. I'm not super sold, but I also don't anticipate viewing Hally as the best Day 1 chop.

Regarding TSP, it is more that I am not buying the suspicion against him rather than that I a firmly town reading him. I would lean town because I feel like I can see some thread of thought coming through in his posts, even if it's not always easy to understand. He did just show us that he's a highly capable liar in Fallout, but I'm not inclined to bury him Day 1 here out of vague paranoia.

i tend to thrive in smaller games and feel out of my element subbing into such a massive thread so i don’t expect myself to become an obvious villager quickly or nail immediately nail wolves left and right. if it happens it happens but don’t hold your breath

I don't feel like that. I acknowledge though that I don't understand him in general.

I understand him about half the time, and when I do I'm able to nod and say "yeah, I can dig it."

As a benign example, I'll point to the early-Day 0 incident where he started speculating about multiball, and I seemed to be the only one who picked up right away that he was speculating about the flavor rather than utilizing any mechanical information.

I'm playing a game of mafia where I'm surrounded by players of a higher skill level than I. If enough players conclude something that I don't see eye-to-eye with and they're right, then no I'm not concerned.

Some players are better at projecting town than others. Some players have a smaller scumrange than others. Lurkers by definition find it difficult to project town.

Nobody wants to exe Dom slot. Nobody wants to exe Michelle except TSP and he got flak for it. To be the D1 exe you have to do something scummy beyond just lurking or being "at the bottom of the hierarchy".

I myself have never been exed D1 whether I was new to the site or not because I am good at projecting town. This suggests that townie people are spared D1 and scummy people are exed which seems reasonable enough.

Syndicate also has a >rand rate of exeing wolves D1. Based on all these points I don't think Syndicate D1s are lazy or clout based.

One time I subbed into a game on a whim and scumread only townies and townread mostly mafia. I self hammered on D3 after screaming at town to exe a POE that was entirely filled with townies.

Never sub into games on a whim.
