I don't find it particularly hard to imagine you replacing into this game as a wolf and deciding to echo the same suspicions that your predecessor had - if you ~are~ a wolf, then you almost certainly looked into your predecessor and their stances before you started posting reads

Tbh I never quite figured out how to read tutuu. Sometimes she said scummy things, sometimes she said town things. Combining this with how towny Hally looks right now is leaving me feeling pretty assured.

It's mostly how you jumped right into asking questions and making reads almost immediately. I feel like someone replacing an anti-town role would more likely hang back and gauge the situation before diving right in. Specifically with the kind of thing you did in responding to me: Asking players their reasoning to their reads.

I think ted backing down on his Marmot read is mildly townie. He would probably have stuck to it more insistently if he was scum.

I think his obstinate view of The Hierarchy in general looks authentic. I make that read very cautiously, in that he probably stays POE but with less conviction.

He has been pushing that view out of game as well for quite a while now. It's a genuine belief he holds. You should not townread him for it any more than you should townread me for saying flash wagons are anti town.

I don't figure most folks would be inclined to sub into a game as a mafioso and then deliberately work to ensure their reads are in alignment with their predecessor's reads. Humans are never that consistent, and I think Hally would interpret that strategy as a How To Get Suspected Instantly.

This doesn't mean much. They can be town or mafia regardless of this. I'll continue leaning town for now with two hours left.
