the point of a distrustful is to actively search for reasons that every player could be a wolf. it’s not a wolf read. he’s just saying IF he were to look for a reason to wolf read you, that’s the reason he’d come up with

nanook has been a slot that i've mostly ignored reading throughout this game, for whatever reason. i usually think that nanook's alignment is obvious as either alignment (ie: i read him as mafia immediately in the zelda mash, i read him as town immediately in bread mafia), but he's been in this weird neutral space where most of the posts that he has made have completely unmoved me in either direction. the lack of clarity that i feel about nanook's alignment indicates to me that he might just be a wolf - i am doubtful that i would have this little to say about nanook's posting if he was a villager

For the record, Nanook was sort of like this in GoC where he was a player that was pretty much could have been either alignment (he was a wolf). I don't know really remember what Nook's village game is like so I don't think I could say if having that 'neutral' persona is alignment indicative for him.

This is 6 hours old, but just to tack on: we don't need to be claiming right now anyway. This game is going exceedingly well so far. Keep your claims in your pockets until it's beneficial to whip them out.

honestly, i immediately felt that my evaluation of michelle was too critical as soon as i posted that wall. i think her posting recently has been mildly villagery. i'm not there yet on her being a villager but i don't find it super hard to envision

Players I feel best about in the Trustfall/Distrustfall exercise: Hally, Alison, SPF, Falcon
Players I feel pretty good about, but not quite as good as above: Bo, Strawhenge
Players I felt better about than I expected to: Michelle, Esooa, KZA
Players I was ambivalent about/could go either way: fingersplints, Long Con, TSP, Oddmerta, JPIC

That leaves me with the following players in a group that I felt more strongly about in the distrustfall than the trustfall exercise:
al_sama, dom, nanook, ted

That is four names, and four is almost certainly not enough to net us all of the mafia members left in the game.
I did not include a tier for "players I felt worse about than I expected." If I had done that, Odd and fingersplints would have been the names on the list. I do not wish to give the impression that either of them are outright suspects right now, but if anyone took a hit in this exercise, it was the two of them.

I have no read on JPIC except that he's not aligned with Marmot. I do not have time to sort him out this instant.

Reading this post and Dom's Iso i don't understand how everyone let him be no matter alignament.
And I don't understand how come this idea that no one is pushing him generated in a town read for Dom, i know i read this but idk who posted it

Also I don't understand why is everyone so reluctant in voting Nanook

I said something along those lines about Dom in my trustfall, but that should in no way be intepreted as "generating a town read for Dom." It was the opposite: the best town argument I could come up with for Dom was goofy and weak.

Those two have certainly forged a unique niche in the mindmeld universe. I have very rarely experienced something like that. Maybe it happened on a smaller scale with Alison in Bread Mafia.
