Town Square. Twilight. The sun sets over the dusty building tops. Hk stands by the saloon door, twiddling his thumbs. Out of the inn door bursts marmot, staggering drunkenly. He spots hk, half points at him, stumbling and swaying towards him, slurring "you...youre...you're not from...round these farts, are you misser?" Hk doesn't look up from his twiddling, "did you just say farts? You better go lay back down, son." Marmot slouches to a stop, danger glinting in his eyes, "no you lay down, bub," he mutters through gritted teeth, fishing out of his pocket a glowing revolver, pointing in vaguely in the direction of hk, and firing. The bullet, as if guided by magic, pierces the place where his heart would be, if fallen angels possessed one. Hk glances down, mutters a final "oh rats" under his breath, and dissipates in a cloud of yellow smoke. Marmot grins self-satisfiedly, "thas wha you get for comin my town...oh no" he collapses, dead on the spot. Townspeople mill about him as the local apothecary checks his pulse. "Death by alcohol poisoning, as we all suspected," he declares.
