mac is not doing anything, so i can't read there.

i am usually a slow starter nowadays and like to drift my eyes across the thread on d1, see if anything sticks out to me. i don't keep any detailed notes or force myself to take stances if nothing jumped out at me.

that + i like to keep strong players unread because most of the time, if they're town they'll die early (so attempting to make a read seems like a waste of time) and if they're mafia, most likely i wouldn't be able to push them even if i thought they were mafia anyway / they're hard to catch early.

i have made 2 reads and i'm waiting on 2 more now, depending on answers.

I’m getting a vague impression on reading that there isn’t a great deal of consensus so far, that the game is a collection of solo solving pockets without cohesion (myself included). That’s not my favorite thing. Maybe this will help me to sort that:

Could everyone please name your top four town reads, or as many as you want/can if not four? Thanks.

it's on a case by case basis - they could still be town and be wrong on like ~everything, but due to their reputation, even if they're wrong they are likely to get killed early anyway by the wolves.

i'd say if one of them ends up in YeLo (so at must vote correctly or we lose the game) then that's definitely something wrong. i guess first night doesn't really raise a lot of alarm bells. they should almost never end up at YeLo though. if both of them are alive there then i'd say with a high degree of confidence that there must be at least one in between them.

it's a valid concern - but most of the time this doesn't matter.

doing it for wifom reasons when you can lead yeets on them doesn't seem worthwhile.

i went for jpic before D0 even started i believe, i didn't know if we can change until D1

i think i can read him pretty well, but most of the reason was because we formed a fake masonry in GoC that wasn't really legit. well, now it is.

Anyone with a confident town read there ought to expand. I briefly liked his little dig into my reads list about JPIC. That’s tiny though.

but popping in, giving two seeming random town reads on two singular posts, making a readslist (that you can't even keep track of - he didn't say anything about his PoE'd people), and then asking one of your PoE'd people if you can sheep their vote and then leaving the thread seems about as limp as it gets

I like ted's take on Gavial this page. I like the dialogue on Jay/Mac less. That can be chalked up to strategy, so I won't make a huge stink.

i have an issue with the mac progression

but his re-entry to the thread really felt wolfy to me - it feels like he did nothing with his time in order to advance any reads / leads or anything

Gavin - tbh my read of him has dropped slightly. His reads this game seem more duplicative of others', and that's shown itself in more recent posts.

Falcon - my one memory of him is his townread of Sean for a spelling mistake, that wasn't a mistake. I'd like more falcon memories.
