I didn't read how any of this crap functioned before I made the decision.
Why did you vote for me? That's very silly Marmot. Put down the crackpipe.

Re: AIM Mafia [Day 1]
I feel pretty good about how JJJ handled me expressing suspicion on him. His response didn't seem to just be OMGUS even though I don't agree with it. On the other hand, Mac's jumping on me feels very wolfy. He wants to paint me as simultaneously a resigned wolf and someone who is pulling advanced wolf tactics out of my ass to win. Which one is it?

That's a very colourful way to describe what I said. Which was that you are coming across like a resigned wolf. Due to how I was reading the way you were flaccidly pushing against Jay like a dude trying to fuck with a soft-on. Now lo and behold you drop the case and decide to OMGUS. I suppose because I have given you something to actually aim at. Please don't mash your soft flaccid peen against me Seanzie. I don't appreciate it.Seanzie wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 9:11 pm I feel pretty good about how JJJ handled me expressing suspicion on him. Do you have anything other than obscenities to respond with? I didn't have a strong scumread of Jay, and I expressed that. You now trying to make that much more into it than it is, and didn't actually respond to my point.MacDougall wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 9:13 pmThat's a very colourful way to describe what I said. Let me ask you something.
Before asking this question.
What is your thought thinking of people who targeted Mac and Mac’s current behaviour.
Please give me your opinion as it can help lock your slot as town if your town but I’m going to need more from you to do so.

well I would say Mac's behavior is strange, especially more recently. I guess I would assume that if Mac is not town then his teammate wouldn't have targeted him so the people that did target him are town. but if he is town then it doesn't really say much about the people who targeted him since they could be anyone. current opinion of Mac: kinda sus.Gavial wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 10:02 pm@Dana

Re: AIM Mafia [Day 1]
I absolutely have an agenda. I’ve a very particular approach to the town game oriented around facilitating a certain kind of thread, and my agenda is to make that happen. It’s not invalid to suggest that an agenda exists. It would be invalid to suggest that an agenda is automatically suspicious. The video link in my signature explains much of that.falcon45ca wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 10:02 pmI dislike this response. Re: AIM Mafia [Day 1]
Alright quick summary:falcon45ca wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 10:35 pm You got cliff's notes for your town agenda this game?
I try to limit my video streaming on the internet to porn only
~ Every on-topic post I make comes with some distinct purpose (or purposes), even if it appears to be tiny or insignificant. On Day 1 especially every little thing bears the potential to blossom into an entire dialogue of many players that enables a rich environment for hunting and assessment. I will hurl reads into the thread, not always even caring much about whether they are correct, for the express purpose of creating the posts that spring from that seed. I will then work to connect people to each other with pointed questions in some vein similar to what do you think of X? (countless possible iterations of that basic question). Answers to those questions and conversations springing from those questions provide me and everyone else with content for deeper analysis later in the game when we have information by way of flips et cetera.
~ I employ a POE approach that is numerically specific. I determine, to the greatest degree of precision I can, how many players I need to correctly identify as civilians to lock the game into a town win. Then I work the game into a collaboration of hunting aimed toward reaching that goal. If it's done right, it's literally impossible to lose the game. It isn't always done right obviously, but it has worked well for me for years. But this means I am inherently at the center of that charge, and I am building a thread in my own image.
~ I am a leader type, and I am very careful about how I portray myself with the hope of maximizing my effectiveness as a leader (and to identify when I should not lead). Stay tuned for an MU article on my leadership philosophy as the tournament approaches.

Put all this together, and you have a JaggedJimmyJay who is in control of quite a lot -- control that is actively sought and claimed. Teamwork is more important to me than anything else as a civilian, but when I am consistently the player trying to promote my singular strategy it means I end up at its center. It means I am the one pushing the agenda.

i'm not sure the self-votes will end up counting due to the rules but my first instinct is to go with either Bo or Nanook for lack of content/help. i'm going to take another look at the other two in the morning and see how the vibes feel with fresh eyesJaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 12:00 am The four players currently with two votes are all agreeable enough to me in the POE pursuit (self-votes acknowledged). Re: AIM Mafia [Day 1]
When I assess the lower-content group, I try to avoid purely asking myself how much they have contributed -- low contribution is a valid reason to place someone in a POE pool, I think, but it isn't the most inspired suspicion. Instead I am trying to read the general attitudes exhibited by players to give some clue about why they are low in contribution. Nanook for example looks perfectly comfortable when he pops in, and he doesn't strike me as someone concerned with the scenario in front of him. He'll do his thing when he feels like it. In contrast, BoKnows looks like someone who doesn't want to be here (meant in the kindest sense; I don't think Bo has done wrong) or isn't comfortable in his shoes. In that way I tend to view him as more suspicious between the two, and more than other somewhat similar slots e.g., Mac.
It's not super substantial, and I grant some reaching must exist to generate these views. But we work with what we have.

MacDougall is by some metrics one of the best mafia players in the world, and someone choosing to have a neighborhood with him probably feels comfortable about their alignment (which usually means they're town)
