Sadly I can't link any games; the portion of the RYM forums that contained the mafia games were all deleted.

My experience with mafia was probably about 3-4 years or so from 2012ish - 2015ish. Only 3 games out of 25-30 games I was scum, and only one of those I won. And unless I'm forgetting, very few or none of those games included a miller role, and I definitely never had a miller card myself.

What are you doing when you have a role you didn't have and you don't know?
What is worse, to keep alive a slot who cannot be cleared during the game or to claim you are a weak spot for town?
Survival mentality is for scum, town wants to die in the search for truth, like Sloonei did for eg.

Me, I am reading about a new role and try to figure how to play it better.
I had a similar ability with yours in a few games and I had to write a text for Sod to appear in the write ups, and my only concern was to share my thoughts and help the village. What from your text helped the village, can you link them?

I don't have an excuse for why I screwed up my miller claim. For one, it doesn't use the word 'miller'; it only says, 'you investigate as [guilty]', so there was no named power ability that came to mind. And it seemed simple enough that I thought I'd just figure it out as I went along. I mistakenly thought telling the thread about my role would create a case of WIFOM that, at best, would just distract everyone from finding real scum. Just like it is now.

So really, if you guys mis-chop me and we lose the game, it's my fault for not knowing how to play miller.

I'm sorry I didn't research it. It seemed simple, but I was just wrong in my approach.

If Odd is scum that means he is enjoying tormenting villagers, because imo if he was Gerhard mafia he wouldn't let me have any peek and he would kill me long ago. Bo played well the first days and had a good image in the game since then, plus the distance JPIC made in his posts made harder to understand Bo is scum.
I don't think everyone would accept to chop Bo without the peek. And i had the peek with Odd's help, at least this is my impression.

For one, I think Odd is a godfather. KC Mafia had a godfather (Marmot), and neither Bo nor JPIC are godfathers for Gerhardt. It makes sense balance-wise that the last scum would be a godfather, and thereby green-checked. And of course he's enjoying tormenting villagers. That's the fun part of playing scum. Especially if you're a godfather with busdriving abilities.

And, one thing I can tell you about the only time I ever won as scum: I didn't hesitate a single second to send my scummates to the gallows. Like I've said before, it bought me town points. That's what I think Odd did by not helping to clear Bo.

An un-choppable scum is OP and I would never play mafia on The Syndicate again if that were true. She might be 3P, but I highly doubt that she's Gerhardt.

I can have a pretty good tone as scum myself, you know? If you don't have something else, just tone so late in the game is not enough.
