Being uncomfortable with strong early reads is either scum nervous about how quick town are launching into solving or a site culture issue where they come from a community whose site meta is to dick around D1. However Scotty has experience with MacDougall and doesn't seem to be a first-time Syndicator so I am doubting the latter explanation.

One of us is misunderstanding the setup I think.

My reading is that each character accesses different powers from different shrines. So as an example. Altmer Noble may be able to access shrines A, B, C, D and E. Argonian Mage may be able to access shrines C, D, E, F and G. Both can access shrine C but they get different powers from accessing shrine C based on the flavor of C as well as their own character's flavor.

One of the powers I can access from a shrine is confirmable and I think pretty pro-town.

In Elder Scrolls lore I think Daedra worship is universal and sort of universally frowned on officially. There's a "state religion" and the Daedra worshipers are sort of like the tolerated pagans that haven't been successfully brought around. Daedra shrines aren't found in the best part of town, but they aren't exactly hidden. As far as I know there is no racial preferences towards any particular individual Daedra.

I am not a big fan of the new fad of claiming mafia in your first post. It's usually done as either a reaction test or a joke but I feel it doesn't succeed at either. I've seen a lot of townies get exed for doing it too.

The difference between townies doing it and mafia doing it is that townies do it for the memes and have a laid back sarcastic tone about it all. Mafia plunge deep into it in a very performative way because they secretly feel anxiety that people will believe it and therefore make the theatricality of the claim as obvious as possible. It is also a way to generate what is essentially fluff content and they like leaning into that while claiming it is NAI because they do it as town too. Seanzie's claim is much more scummy than townie. However his lack of follow-up is a slight uptick as it shows that he doesn't have the intention of shitting the thread up with fluff while calling it NAI.

The basis for my opinion is the two games I've played with you here you've come out and started doing super towny things. Look like you're scum hunting, asking good questions, and making what looks like legit attempts to form a town core. Both times you were mafia.

KZA/Kylemii are a pair of weirdos. I wasn't a fan of KZA's "why do people care about Gavial's trolling" post when Gavial is well known for tilting people with strange logic. The "let's form a Canucks towncore" was also sketchy since it seemed a little more motivated by trying to pocket his sitemates than genuinely thinking they're all town. Especially if I am right on BK. Aside from these pings his posting has been fine.

Kylemii's posting has been all ok except for the vote on falcon and a consistent sense of unease I am having when I read his posts. Call it a gut read. I wavered between calling them mixed and calling them scummy and I think I'll call them mixed because I'm feeling nice today.

During Day 1 (that’s today) I’ll be putting 11 Null Town, 7 Lean Town, 5 Town, 2 Lock Town, 9 Null Scum, 5 Lean Scum, 3 Scum and 1 Lock Scum as options in the wheel and spin it for every player in the game!
Then for the next days I’ll be spinning to see if I should change my reads. “Yes” means I do and “No” means I don’t change it.
If it is “Yes” I’ll be doing Up 1, Up 2, Up 3, Down 1, Down 2, Down 3 to determine the next new read change.
If it’s already Lock Scum/Town I’ll remove the
Up/Down which ever it is and add a “4” to it.

Once I’m free I’ll start doing the reads!
