Okay I am caught up.

So.

LongCon is my top town read.

I do not find setup speculation sus, because the setup is obviously highly complicated. The mafia have the GIGANTIC advantage in that they are able to share multiple role cards and get a sense of the scope. For example they most likely came in knowing that some people had far more specific shrine info while others had a wider choice but less information, which town only knows now because of the spec.

That means that Scotty was uninformed, and I am gonna town read him. Alison also.

So I get three town reads off that and consider it a good thing.


Next thing, this game has an inordinate number of mafia claimers. This is annoying AF because at least one of them is probably telling the truth, but there is really no way to say which. Those towns participating in this need to get a grip. Sure, maybe you are an "oh they always meme claim mafia" townie. Maybe you genuinely don't know any other way to clear your slot. If so, get gud scrub. Because you give the wolves the opportunity to pile in behind you in a game this size when there are too many of you.

I am in favor of "all mafia claimers stop now, last one to quit gets chopped."



Next thing, Kyle's play was a little weird, but he is Kyle. The response to Kyle's weird play has been waaaaay more weird. The number of people who have said "that's wolfy," added to the number of people who not only said it but expounded on what was wolfy about it...just does not compute with there being ZERO votes on Kyle. Somewhere in there is at least one wolf, maybe even more than one, that are setting themselves up to be able to pile on a wagon because they are assuming that eventually one just has to take off there.

Not sure who the wolves are, but I am pretty sure Kyle is town.

The order in tiers is not perfectly sorted, but the people who come before others in the same tier I had an easier time making a kneejerk read on (I copied the whole list, then sorted the ones I had insta-feelz for first, then once I had a smaller list, forced myself to go through each person and sort them).

I can, if forced, go along with "well, open claiming mafia is just what Seanzie does, it's NAI" and continue studying you, but Made throwing an "I'm just gonna post music vids, screw it" party is distinctly not in line with his town behavior and is a lot closer to his play in Double Elimination where he came right out the gates looking to eat the day one bus for his team.

I can get as far as this being NAI maybe, because sure, wolfMade maybe doesn't want to just die day one twice in a row and get a reputation as that wolf...but in that case why not just play his town game?

I didn't think, I just sorted. My kneejerk reaction is that Made should go in "up".

You seem to say that Made is playing just like wolf!Made in a recent game where he wanted to give his town a path to victory by getting bussed, but then you're saying this is NAI? Why? because wolf!Made might not want to play that way? I don't see how this would be reason to think what you're seeing in Made is NAI at all (aside from the fact that nothing is NAI).

@Timsup2nothin could you describe Made’s town game and how it’s different from his wolf game?

In GoC town made was a very good analytical player. He made reads and explained them so that even when he was wrong you could see that the way he was thinking fit in with trying to figure stuff out. In Double Elimination wolfMade just played "in your face, yeah I'm a wolf what of it?" and his partners were on bussing early and got a long way on that cred and very little else.

This little "I'm just posting vids, like it or lump it" Made looks a LOT more like the latter than the former, but that's not really the current point. The current point is that Seanzie is looking at that Made and seeing "oh sure, just town" and when asked how he sees it that way his response is basically "how dare you ask?"
