the issue is when he's scum he literally has to do very little to get near end game. And every phase counts otherwise why do any of us bother at all unless it's end game

well, nanook playing a coasty game doesnt mean that he doesn't have specific alignment tells - i pegged him as maf in a recent mash game even though he was one of the lowest posters in the thread. i am neutral about his alignment so far but i don't think he's an impossible read

it might be easier to read him accurately if his activity was higher, but that's true for a lot of people

not really. i would probably get a little snarky w/nanook if he parked his vote on me for an extended period of time, but i just don't personally agree w/your assessment of his playstyle being actively damaging to the gamestate. i think that people with unconventional playstyles are a unique part of social games, and they can contribute to the team victory if theyre utilized in the right way (ie: being easy for the rest of the village to find and correctly townread)

its a distraction for me and with limited deadline its a waste of brain thought and being frustrated makes it harder for me to solve.

i guess this is where i reveal why i townread longcon, and the simple reason is, they intiated a vote on me, and thats usually town indicative to me. i guess its not really a good reason but also i think their intentions were towny. they were a very easy mislim in my last game with them.

I disagree that nanook’s play is intentionally not readable. I’ve had no problem accurately reading him every game I play with him (which is like 4 but still)
It’s just early still and I have no problem with not reading everyone yet
