Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 1]
That was not strongly, it was wishfully. I am sort of hoping that visiting the right shrine in the right circumstances might bless me with a vig shot, but I honestly have tried to play towards getting righteously night killed by the wolves more than towards living long enough to get any significant blessings from the Daedra.
I may be making assumptions that you aren't. I do think in a 24 player game the Daedra are going to be handing out kill power, because, well, they are Daedra, and otherwise the game gets kinda long. Plus everyone's favorite mission in the best ES game is called "the blood bath" so, y'know, it fits the lore.

I googled blood bath elder scrolls quest mission ES and got no discernible results. Was it associated with a shrine?Timsup2nothin wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 2:09 amThat was not strongly, it was wishfully. "The Legion Champion, Larrius Varro, at Fort Moonmoth told me a little story. He didn't come right out and say it, but he suggests that some 'bad people' are bribing a 'bad magistrate' to fix sentences and crimes for criminals. The General also suggests making these 'bad people' go away might require a 'bloodbath.' I think he wants ME to provide the bloodbath."
Dialog from Morrowind. There was no shrine involved.

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 1]
Real name of the quest I guess is "Larrius Varro tells a little story." But I think most Morrowind players refer to it as the bloodbath.

So.
LongCon is my top town read.
I do not find setup speculation sus, because the setup is obviously highly complicated. The mafia have the GIGANTIC advantage in that they are able to share multiple role cards and get a sense of the scope. For example they most likely came in knowing that some people had far more specific shrine info while others had a wider choice but less information, which town only knows now because of the spec.
That means that Scotty was uninformed, and I am gonna town read him. Alison also.
So I get three town reads off that and consider it a good thing.
Next thing, this game has an inordinate number of mafia claimers. This is annoying AF because at least one of them is probably telling the truth, but there is really no way to say which. Those towns participating in this need to get a grip. Sure, maybe you are an "oh they always meme claim mafia" townie. Maybe you genuinely don't know any other way to clear your slot. If so, get gud scrub. Because you give the wolves the opportunity to pile in behind you in a game this size when there are too many of you.
I am in favor of "all mafia claimers stop now, last one to quit gets chopped."
Next thing, Kyle's play was a little weird, but he is Kyle. The response to Kyle's weird play has been waaaaay more weird. The number of people who have said "that's wolfy," added to the number of people who not only said it but expounded on what was wolfy about it...just does not compute with there being ZERO votes on Kyle. Somewhere in there is at least one wolf, maybe even more than one, that are setting themselves up to be able to pile on a wagon because they are assuming that eventually one just has to take off there.
Not sure who the wolves are, but I am pretty sure Kyle is town.
I think that's all I have so far.

just because they don't make sense to you, doesn't mean they don't make sense... it's more likely Qwags just operates on a wavelength beyond your comprehensionfalcon45ca wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 4:49 pmLast time I gave Marmot shit for not showing up D1 he was town, so I'm gonna say it's NAI for now.
Quin tho has actually been ITT, but barely. Not a good look IMO.
Qwags be qwaggin' hasn't occurred yet, but it's a new site for him...I think this is his 1st game on Synd. If he doesn't start Qwaggin' soon (posting reads that make no goddamn sense), then he's in my POE.

I'm not trying to be fake being humble here when I say thank you kindly for thinking I'm this good at acting. I'm not capable of faking an argument with a teammate like this. idk what Kyle is, was confused about. idk why it was confusing that I think it's suss if it wasn't random. I slept, went back and reread and I am genuinely confused as to what he wants from me.
anyway I conclude that Kyle is maybe town here and made a jk list. he wanted to get someone(s) not on the list to make comments. he wanted someone(s) on the list to make comments too. and he was gonna get reads out of it.
and for some reason beyond me he got confusion from my post about it. which idk maybe because I didn't directly quoted him but quoted someone else and replied to that instead.
I'm not Kyle and I'm not scum parties with him so I can't ask him in scum chat about it.
last time i checked I'm fairly easy to read. Kyle is a confusion sandwich for me tho.

tbh I see a wall of text and skip over the post. I was thinking to myself earlier that long and drawn out posts would be posted by mafia more often than town. Scum players have that pressure to come off as towny and may overdo their posts in order to come across as town where towny's can be blunt.Stupid Sexy Flanders wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 10:37 amGuess I missed it. I think it’s a person to person thing and can be NAI, especially since my past games contain large blocky hunting ISOsBoKnows wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 10:40 amtbh I see a wall of text and skip over the post. Do you feel like Daisy's defense is long winded / excessive.. and also weird in their backtracking, or just meh?
In the case of Daisy, it seems like genuine word vomit and I don’t think at this point I would look too far into the crystal ball
