That's fine. But I did have the same reads, roughly, and we pushed in the same direction. Pretty much tandem. I did it out of my own reads and took it as encouragement that Plat had the same thoughts (cause I thought he was town). That happened naturally, I didn't see Plat as scum. I don't think I ever line myself up that close with a teammate, especially when the situation is we know each other but nobody else knows him. I really just thought he should be town here, and this is very much how we work when we are both town (which has been almost every game we've played together).NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 10:38 pm Like there's some nebulous kinda vague "maybe plat was trying to pocket" stuff but I don't see anything jn their interactions that makes me go "yeah these two are never partners," especially on dizzy's end, they're just kinda flaccid stuff

Alright, good. I'll take this then. I honestly wasn't sure, cause I thought HK likes to distance pretty hard. But also, that seems a bit unnecessary, and I know Plat doesn't like to bus unless he needs to, and probably wouldn't want HK to do it to him. So probably town. Didn't read their back and forth, but I will at some point.NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 10:44 pm HK on the other hand has a back and forth i think is unlikely to be teamed, knowing hk
So I'm still keeping him clear

So if mafia chose vig, mafia consider themselves a strong team. Which doesn't give us much, cause Plat would consider them a strong team just from him being on it lol. But yeah.NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 11:09 pm Vig is usually negative utility for town
Especially in this playerlist
Another reason to TR lc btw he'd be at risk from a vig shot

Re: Bluey: The Werewolf Game - Game Thread (Day 2)
Nah, spf is town, cause it makes sense that Plat would try to out all pts and find some kind of glory in that. If spf was a teammate, her doing the fake outing would render Plat's fishing useless. I also believe spf wouldn't town read Plat first thing on D1 if they were scum together.
Hollow town, Nanook town, LC town. I don't get why Tony is cleared, but he's likely town from trying to distract away from two possible town meets (Falcon and LC) last phase, cause he wouldn't have to do that as scum. Depending on how much scum was threatened, but yeah.
Marmot is probably scum tbh. And could definitely be Alison too. I don't love Alison going for lhf Falcon when she said she could've read him if he stayed in the game. And I didn't love her play overall. I'll check interactions with Plat later, but I think Alison called him town after some other people had done it.
Interaction stuff later. Good job, Gavial. And well played, Plat. You passed me for sure.

I didn't care for it either, which is why I looked into Long Con as a potential save attempt from her. But I came away townreading Long Con, so if she's scum, she probably didn't have much incentive to make that move.
That said, I'm a still slightly torn on Long Con, because fingersplints isn't the kill I would've expected, and Long Con is the first person I would think to do that.

Yeah, Invictius is never the vig here. Shooting fingersplints imo is not a good selection.

fingersplints and Long Con have been playing together for over a decade iirc, presumably to the point where they can eventually read each other pretty well in a game.
But yeah, the point about Plat does counter that idea.

Re: Bluey: The Werewolf Game - Game Thread (Day 1)
One of the reasons I think it's Invictus/Alison:
The whole exchange around "Does Invictus know Dizzy" feels very fabricated to me, and not something Alison would naturally investigate in the manner she does.
This whole line of questioning seems to just exist to plant that Alison doesn't know anything about Invictus and is totally unfamiliar.
The whole thing just rubs me all the wrong ways. It's a meaningless line to take. It creates distance between them in the form of "Alison is not familiar with Invictus". She asks for a game and everything and asks Invictus to summarise my play in it, which is totally meaningless to the point she's trying to make. It's all wrong to me.
I hope this made sense. It definitely does in my head, but I'm not sure if I explained it well. Would like thoughts.
The whole exchange around "Does Invictus know Dizzy" feels very fabricated to me, and not something Alison would naturally investigate in the manner she does.
Prods with two questions (apparently from Invi's RVS vote on me).
Then she asks if Plat can post to a game where we played together. Not sure why she would ask this tbh, since a yes/no-answer should suffice as an answer to her question about whether Plat knows me or not.Alison wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 1:51 amCondescending tone was not intentional. Why does this question exist? This is totally pointless. Why would Invictus have to prove what my alignment was and what I was doing in a game we played together in order to answer whether we have played or not?
This whole line of questioning seems to just exist to plant that Alison doesn't know anything about Invictus and is totally unfamiliar.
Also, the conclusion makes no sense either. I was never a bandwagon. In fact, Invictus was the first lone vote on me. Not a bandwagon. And it was early page 1 random ass RVS. This is not "mafia trying to make me a thing, but they can't, since I'm good at projecting town". Alison's whole argument makes no sense here. What I'm getting from this is that Alison is saying that Invictus could be mafia trying to "make me a bandwagon" (which is questionable in itself, cause it was one lone vote on D1), but then she turns it into a town thing, because "Invictus would know I'm not easily bandwagoned on D1 since I'm good at projecting town". There's several mistakes here. First of all, it was completely meaningless RVS and not a bandwagon vote trying to make anything stick that would threaten me. And second, she assumed me town here and she also assumes Invictus as scum (but then turns it around).

Re: Bluey: The Werewolf Game - Game Thread (Day 2)
I keep calling Invictius Plat, cause that's what I know him as. Sorry about that.
