I did not buy the magic detecting scroll...with five wolves and only one of them having an artifact it seemed like a very limited prospect for success, even if I had a solid wolf read. I did go to a shrine where there was only one other person and got the same profits I got on N1, and I am taking that to mean uniformity across shrines. N2 I got not quite three times the profits at a shrine that semi-believably had three other visitors, do I'm pretty comfortable that I should be able to say how many people visit whatever shrine I go to.

I can buy something moderately cool today and almost certainly will. Fewer players means chances of a big profit night get smaller, and the super cool things are probably just out of my price range.
