So guys can we figure out why Virtue wanted Bullz dead so bad? Can we go back and look at his posts and see who he was suspicious of? They forced a vote for him, made him act insane, and then eventually killed him. Maybe it will give us some clues?

Day 7 - At Least They Never Handed Out Pamphlets or Sung Hymns...

MovingPictures returned to the Community Centre the next morning, prepared to have a fun time with the few friends of his who'd survived the ordeal that took place there over the past week; a session full of forgetting about their troubles, breaking into the liquor cabinet, and partying 'til the sun rose the next day. Despite a weird evening where one of his buddies demonstrated her unusual power on him, he was excited to show his peers what Dana could do.
Instead, he opened the large cafeteria doors and was disturbed to find his friends huddled around a bloody cadaver, beaten beyond recognition.
"Ugh, see now...", Keterman muttered, glaring at niju. "I told you to stop this before more people found out. It's not very Christian of you to be hurting all of these sinners if I can help them."
DharmaHelper approached MP, quickly closing the distance between them. He clutched the unassuming man by his shoulders and stared him dead in the eyes. "I don't think this one can be saved." he remarked while still staring coldly at MP.
As he struggled, MP was lifted up by DH and nij as the followed Keterman down a hallway, up a flight of stairs, and to the roof of the Community Centre.
Keterman took a quick glance at his victim as he shouted, "Begone, filthy one!", then pushed MP from his captors' arms. MP teetered on the ledge for a second, but that second felt like an eternity. Inside, Dana tried to separate from her doomed friend to no avail. It was a tragic end to the Misfits, ending their service closer than any of them started as. Poetically bridging the gap between the volunteers and the convicts in their demise.
MovingPictures smiled as he fell. After a week of running himself ragged in trying to figure out his power, it finally dawned on him. Maybe this wasn't his end. Maybe it was just the beginning.
MovingPictures07 has been lynched. He was Nathan. The Civs have been overrun, Dana has died, and the Virtue Organization has won!
Congratulations to Keterman, nijuukyugou, and their recruit: DharmaHelper! Thanks to everyone for making this an amazing game to host.

Postgame stuff may take a couple of hours to post since my Nook battery is running low, but: Questions? Advice? What worked and didn't? Etc...
I will say that there were a few close calls for the Virtues on the way to their victory. They played really well though.

Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 7)
The original Virtue was me, Blooper, and Epignosis. I did the recruiting while Blooper did the kills. Losing Epignosis so early was devastating but DH filled his shoes very well. The second recruit was Eloh but she died before getting to help us, which was a shame. Nevertheless we pulled through. Good job to my teammates and good game everyone!

Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 7)
Actually I just straight up read my role wrong... I thought that out of nj dh and bullz, only one could be mafia, but nj wasn't actually on that list...Meaning mafia was either Letterman/mp for one teams and nj/dh/Dana/bullz. If dh hadn't switched teams I would of been Really off.
As for my role, I knew that out of of SVS, DH, Canuck, Dana, bulls, and elocin, one was Tony one was Sally.

Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 7)
I know right? I would totally have voted for him on the last day if I'd survived. He was just dripping evil. But then I kinda knew Virtue were all over the place anyway. By the way, why did you zealots all want me dead so badly? Obviously the DH 'forcing' was fake but still... Kinda a lot of effort to go to for a glorified gossip role.Enrique wrote:I saw this coming a mile away. Of all the players in the end, DH was so obviously bad
I really love my role from this game though. I'd always wanted to have a 'post stuff daily through the host' type role and was genuinely annoyed in Video Game Mafia where I got bandwagoned on day one and never had a chance to use my original role, so that was an extra bit of cool for me. I think the idea of roles tailored to individual players was pretty clever!

Also we originally were going to kill Keterman night 3 but I felt bad because he had gotten killed the same day in Fight Club. So I changed it to Roxy for reverse psychology reasons.

Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 7)
I underestimated you big time. I thought you were going to be an easy Day 1 lynch after my large post got such a great reception but instead Sorsha got it and my case became less and less convincing. If you had killed me though, it's likely Virtue would have lost because I wouldn't have been able to recruit DH.S~V~S wrote:I knew you were bad the second I died. Perhaps so, but my team had just killed you in Fight Club. Killing you twice in one day just felt mean to me. I have been killed twice in one day and it sucks. You played a really good game, Go Baddies

Can I just say actually Virtue really deserved this win. The civvies shot ourselves in both feet with the first two lynches (partly my fault going against Sorsha!) and didn't really start to get it together until it was way too late. We got schooled and rightly so. Well played baddies

This was a fun game! I've never had the opportunity to do a baddie suicide kamikaze in-thread meltdown before, and even if it didn't really work out how I wanted it to (I.e. To divert attention from SVS) it was a lot of fun to do anyway.

Congrats, Virtue.
DH was such an obvious bad baddie I wanted to SCREAM! (Granted, I thought he was bad from day 1, but whatevs... )

Made, part of why I was so suspicious of you is because I got at least two separate pieces of info on different nights making you out to be bad. I thought that couldn't possibly be coincidence. One of those actually came on night one and was the only thing that pointed to someone being bad but I didn't want to publish it because I thought it would be mean to do that to you in your first game. Turns out the one I did publish was probably true since you weren't Virtue and Canuck wasn't Curtis. Also looks like the K-Man one I published was totally true as well, yet people were going around saying they were all false :P

Re: Misfits Mafia (Day 7)
I spent all of Day 1/Night 1 A civvie, more specifically as a Township role able to curse/help people through mind control. Canuck missed the vote, so I cursed her. Then I got recruited, lost my power, and had to switch gears entirely.
Fortunately I had a great team, and was able to contribute by using the fact that most people trusted me as a civvie. When Dana and I got BTSC, I had already been recruited, and devised the "code" in order to keep tabs on her very tricky power. After the Canuck lynch, it was fairly obvious to me who SVS was, so we killed her.
Also, as a reward for being leader and because at least 1 person completed the tasks I set out, I got a lynch stop which I used the day I voted bullz so early. I had hoped the day would stop and no one would know who voted Bullz, but some quick thinking on my part and some blind luck gave us the whole "Made switched the lynch" story to use to get Made in the crosshairs.
I dropped the civvie act right around the time we realized the numbers were stacked for us in such a way that winning was probably likely.

I talked with Roxy briefly about how her power finally came in handy on the night she died.
When I saw SVS's first PM to kill Keterman, I thought the civs might get the break they needed lol.

Re: Misfits Mafia (END GAME)
Omg damn.... I (thought i) knew either you or Bulls was mafia, so when i saw you seemed to trust SVS, and trust Dana, I immediately figured someone had btsc, or just someone sort of silent agreement and civvies had all but won the game as everyone else already pieceed together all township civvies had powers. I saw your early vote, and figured you placed it right after the reeds post as your "Read" and i took the bate. hard.DharmaHelper wrote:One of my better performances in a game.
