Tangrowth I think is likely town but I feel uneasy about town-reading them for something I normally don't.
Guilo I think is lean town. Kinda using my gut on this though since I can't find the (effective) words to describe what I'm reading as positive on him atm.

It also feels weird to me to be town-reading confidently based on entrance alone after comming back from break. I felt positive about their posting four minutes in:

Like almost disapointed in myself thinking "if I hadn't taken my break then maybe I would be scrutinizing them more". Or "it can't be this easy". Along those lines.

Cool beans. For what it's worth, I agree with the read. Tangrowth is often a prolific poster and rarely struggles for enthusiasm, but under the specific circumstances of this game (first in a while on this site in a crossover with new friends) -- I think it was the right start. She's solidified that view in the time since.

Hi, I am a Gnome! I spend a lot of time in the garden so I don't go out on very many dates. I understand about feeling nervous and excited and about the need to have a healthy dose of paranoia because I too get pcoketed a lot by eager scum! They are so charming that I end up on and I am not even aware of all of the noisy howls It is very sad. I am looking for a sweet towny date and feel nervous and excited about finding romance, despite the presence of scummy scum scum!

I'm torn about this post more than I'd typically be for some early Day 1 thing.

Some part of me appreciates this pointed effort from Garden Gnome to reach across the site aisle to offer Dana encouragement, and the enthusiasm is nice. The language bears that sort of surface appearance that often gets people into trouble (e.g. scummy scum scum), sometimes rightly and often not.

I take no issue.

Gnome and I were briefly mafia partners in my one game on MafC, and they struck me there as an exceptionally nice person in general. The language of that post does not seem out of place from them from what I can recall. Granted we did not interact a ton.

Regarding that Garden Gnome post -- I think I've seen some mention that I "suspected" her for that post. To be clear: I was torn because I considered a town read for that post, but couldn't commit given uncertainty about the language. Everyone's suggested it's typical language, so on balance I'd call that a nice GG post.

I hope we can avoid our inner instincts toward claim spam in this game -- the hosts specifically indicated that it's "at our own risk". Similar warnings have gone unheeded in some recent town failures, especially in these big ass games.

There've just been some isolated incidents of overzealous claiming for which my memory is vague in recent games like Fallout 2 and Modern Family. Generally I just want folks to use their heads before blurting things that needn't be blurted.

You've probably already been answered but I'm here now, so; JaggedJimmyJay meet Garden Gnome. She not only encourages tunneling on her, she will pick up a shovel herself and assist your digging.
