No strong opinions there. I think it's plausible that the concerns JJJ has raised on them are the result of a playstyle difference like they claimed, and I have not been strongly pinged by them.

Maybe. But the quality of the reads still concern me. I know I'm town, I think Mac is town, I think Guillo is obvtown, and hawkataine's posting has been pretty solid and unobjectionable to me. It's rare that Sloonei and I diverge so strongly from our views in the game when we're both town. I would appreciate JJJ's input there since he has a good read on Sloon.

I have just re-read Owner's ISO and it was much scummier than I remembered. Owner is an active suspect of mine.

Hello, I'm Tangy and this is my first mafia game.

Hi Tangy. This may be one of my final mafia games I play. I have been considering retirement. Not, to rain on the date though, I just feel as though I can't mod how I want to mod anymore, which is my main appeal to the game in the recent years.

Owner you should try modding games here owner. Some of the setup i have seen here are right up your alley.

What do you want me to expand?

If I didn't play a game before this one, I would been the same way as act and you on dana.

It'd be super to know what made you feel this way, and what playing a game before this one did to change your perspective.

The playstyles are mainly the reason if I have to say. Certain things which you guys see as townie are not seen as townie thing over there. Now lets take act what you guys saw stilted and acting scummie from act we consider as something normal from her. This is her playstyle this is how she plays regardless of alignment. Similarly to what you felt with gnome. I felt the same way when I saw syn, mac play. Dana coming in and saying i am nervous and stuff if i didnt see others play last game even i would have felt it was scummie.

Like my impression is most of LM's posts are comments on things that don't actually have bearing on the game itself, there's a couple like the discussion of act's style that could come close to giving a read but avoid actually doing so. There's a hint of a scumread on me, and some interaction with Jay and that's it. I feel like they're hesitant to actually get into the meat of the game.

Nutella's first post pinged me a little...not sure if I have really heard upgaymers? in a sentence before..it could be nai, it's just a bit out there for me which...on this first date I expect there is more not less of it to come (almost spelled that wrong) I think I need to get out more

There's a pattern of shading players based on points that I think are unjustified or frivolous. I don't think it's nitpicking, because Owner doesn't commit to them or push the players in question. They hedge a lot, phrasing their scumreads as questions and adding lots of "hmms" and "idks" and ellipses to give the impression of uncertainty. I've seen the explanation for the Sloonei suspicion, but it contributes to a wider pattern of shade-casting that I can't ignore.

It's like they're trying hard to plant the seeds of suspicion or doubt while double-confirming that they have plausible deniability and a way to backtrack on their read if nobody bites.

A few of you have either voiced direct suspicion of Dana for this post or suggested that you would have or could have done so in the ensuing dialogue relating to Act and Guillotine.

Why? What about this Dana post is worrisome, or could be worrisome? I ask this to develop my ability to interpret everyone involved, perhaps even Dana herself. My first instinct is that not everyone voicing a sentiment like this is being honest, but determining who is not going to be easy if the conversation continues to exist on this vague plane of woulds/coulds/nulls. Help an angry bear out.
