idk if it's cool or not but I found out some stuffs. idk what it means or not means tho.
Yeah, cool cool. Me too

You know what would be nice? Figuring out how learning someone’s race means anything.
wouldn't certain races be linked to artifacts or more likely to the princes and maybe certain shrines?

then u could discern perhaps who could be what? and mayhap, based on that decide a player's alignment?
I don’t think so, based on the fact that we learned Breton monk was a mafia and Breton [other role] was town.

I don’t know enough about the game to gesticulate the artifact affiliation.
Plus we just have that 1 artifact left, so meh.
oh then I got no idea. a good question to ask host post game.

side note: so, do u mean you think I am 3rd party? I'm not. of i win thrn town wins. I don't think u r 3rd party so not sure what u mean when you want me to win. shouldn't u want to win too?
I was just being witty. I may have been the only one to laugh tho

Marmot is the only one that looks remotely scum on that because he was just saving himself.

BUT even saving himself makes me wonder if he would do that if he were bad. It would tell me his role is more powerful, or he’s just selfish. Because losing the razor is shit for mafia, I feel. Wouldn’t you just take the fall? I don’t know.
That could just be a bus in a lost cause world. Staying off on me wouldn't save Falcon anyway, and would just be outing.

This race talk has got my jimmies in a twist (is that a phrase? whatever)

What if...the 3P has to guess the race of their potential target with that mace, and if they guess correct, it’s a NK?

I appreciate the effort and will stop screaming at you.

FWIW, my alignment aside I live and by by watching movements at EoD. I generally get a lot more information that way than any other. That's why you see me and Mac as potential partners (in alignment) because we were partnery at EoDs...but it's because we play the same way in that respect. I am more considered in my movements where Mac just wildly flings votes (IMO), but we are both moving to cause movements more than we are following particular reads.

And yeah, I've said it myself that when I don't have pelts I am hard to trust, so I understand. But seriously, "I helped start a wagon on the most powerful wolf just so that I could wifom off it if he did flip" is just bad wolf play no matter how you look at it, and the one thing I think everyone will agree on is that if you find yourself saying "yeah bad play but wolves just make bad plays sometimes so Tim"...I'm not that wolf. I may not be great town, but when I play wolf I am three steps ahead on every path.

Catch them in a lie? Like after all my claims to being the merchant if you found out I was not an Imperial you'd have a genuine reason to vote me instead of whatever conf bias nonsense you are feeding on currently.

I'm gonna say this one more time because it is so damn frustrating. Really? It’s minor but I find it hard to believe you’re posting this, what with the very first line of the description of this game as 18 v 5 v 1.

It’s not just your EoDs that are troubling, but I am harping on those because I see a pattern, and it’s not catching scum while still being entrenched as the town voice.

Also you passed me in highest poster sometime yesterday, so there’s that.
NAI...I post a lot when I am on defense. :)

I don’t remember you “starting” the wagon. But I also don’t have the patience to look all the way back through through the various vote orders yesterday

But point taken.

Hey, how do you read LC right now?
My only alignment indicative thing on LC is that he stepped in day one when I was potentially mischoppable and got me off the hook.

You and I had our clear difference about how you knew what the shrines you could visit would do and I could go to any shrine but didn't know shit. I see no reason why a w!LC steps in there and says "yeah me too" when I was on that hot seat. Sure, it was going to eventually resolve as NAI on both sides, but what's the point of making that happen? Just to pocket me? I am usually deemed not worth pocketing by most wolf teams, but maybe. Not something I am quite ready to look at when Radishes has done obvious wolf driven things.

Most wolf teams will play me a different way than the pocket, because I am usually someone they want to kill out with long term discrediting leading to a mischop on "has no pelts, must be bad" or a night kill if they have to because I get pelts.

LC's votes at EoDs haven't looked bad to me...not great, but not bad...and that is 90% of what I look at. So yeah that's all I have.

Doesn’t pocketing help on the former scenario? If they pocket and get you on their side, doesn’t that lead to you most likely mislynching? Sounds like a viable strategy to me.

How about LC’s play in general- not just eod?

wait hold on.

iirc my very first time I randed mafia I was bullied by one of my teammates to vote one of them. then they ended ip voting me and I barely scrapped myself off the lynch and avoided the noose. we won. it was that game that I decided I was never going to bus a teammate. I'm fine if they bus me for them to win but I never was going to do it. mafia can win without forcing teammates to play a certain way is my thought process and mafia is already at a disadvantage so why lynch one of your own? I get that bussing is a tactic and it gives cover for your team and not everyone is good at deep wolfing. no one has to think like me nor play like me, but don't force me to play like you either. it is good to grow and learn and adapt because no 2 games are alike, even if the game has the same players.

fast forward to bans and moving homesite etc. I do not think I'm discord savvy at all. I play a game and host gives all players individual channels and gives out roles and personal channels. iirc previously we get private messages from host. I go on discord and see game started and I got no role pm from host. I pm him asking for it. I go and look at day 1 and start reading. game is active and I see I got alot to read. I start replying to posts and I vote a player I think is acting scummy. finally I hear from host and he tells me to check the channels etc and that I should have a personal one and the mafia channel. previously if you randed mafia you were in a group discord chat or in a sepearate mafia server.. I'm like mafia? I'm mafia? there is channels? oh snap. i restart my phone and I go back on discord and sure enough I got pings and I see I got my own channel and I see a mafia channel. that player i thought was scummy and I voted, they were a teammate. I was so mad at myself, my phone and myself. I literally never did that again.

iirc I played a game in ace's homesite and I randed mafia. iirc since no one knew me I decided to see how I would feel if I tried to vote a teammate and if I was over my ptsd issues with voting teammats. iirc I think I did vote a teammate. I don't remember. I might not have. I really don't remember. not sure how I would fund that game to see if I did or not.

I wanted to be perfectly clear and up front. sorry for this essay.

This looks like a pocket if I’ve ever heard one, if LC is bad. And if it looks like a pocket to me, and you aren’t deemed worth pocketing? Why is that?

That’s the ONLY alignment-indicative thing you’ve taken away from LC? Sheesh
I wasn't really cognizant of the idea that I could be suspected for what Tim is saying, on Day 1. I was just sharing what my Shrine experience/relationship was... or wasn't. It probably doesn't read like a pocket attempt.

@Gavial who did you track and where did they go...and if you say you tracked Made I will slaughter you today, just so you know.
I tracked you but the mods haven’t given me a result yet.

so like pocketing is when a mafia player tries to get a town player to trust them and think they are safe right?

what's it called when 2 towns do it?

I know you got a core once you got at least 3 townies agreeing they is town together.

It’s not just your EoDs that are troubling, but I am harping on those because I see a pattern, and it’s not catching scum while still being entrenched as the town voice.

Also you passed me in highest poster sometime yesterday, so there’s that.
NAI...I post a lot when I am on defense. :)

I generally get handled more the way Mac handled me...a constant "your reads are bad bad bad and anyone listening to you is dumb but maybe you're town" so that I have to really work hard to get any chops I get...because people remember that hard work so I take a lot of blame for the misses. Otherwise the wolves generally steer clear. But pocketing by taking pressure off of me? Not typical. Not saying can't have happened, but it's not typical.

As to the rest of LCs play, the only significant things are the fake red on you...which is mighty brazen (LC is capable of that) and haed to find a wolf motive for (a one for one at that point was not called for at all, and the fake and recant is of dubious value)...dubious value unless it is in the tinfoil context of LC being designated artifact fisher. If there was a wolf consensus that a fake red could somehow draw out artifact claims that also fits in with other aspects of LCs play. And Mac very clearly played for "do not chop Bo just to get rid of it, let the wolves Razor him" which was an indication that the wolves are interested in artifact hunting.

Again, this is all yes/no/maybe stuff that gets a closer look once the obviously wolf behaving McRadish burger is fried and consumed.

if LongCon is supposed to be scum then someone is going to have to literally walk me through it. not just show me posts and talk about his actions but go in depth and explain everything. I expect charts and graphs and lists and actual spreadsheets and vote count analysises. im going to need in depth explanations and reasoning.

Radishes loves to open wolf, as either alignment...and never slips. That may be just openwolfing, but it is purely intentional.
