Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 5]
Sk roles are something I miss from HCRealms but they’re so hard to balance.

Tbf, if I was a wolf and there was a sk in the game and it was Tim and I knew it was Tim, I would absolutely be trying to yeet him.

Like in insane world where I’m a wolf and Tim is a sk, this is a good read, too.Gavial wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 10:53 pmHonestly I would be willing to vote Vulgard here considering he had me as hard town when he entered and now wants to take it out of his list because others are growing suspicious of me despite my interaction with Mac should have been a clear TVS indication.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 10:49 pmHow is it tmi to get the setup wrong?Scotty wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 8:41 pmReally? In that case, we have four or five nontown alive with seven or eight town alive. My PoE is too small for this. Which is why I'm moving people out of my clear zone. People like Gavial and Marmot.
I don't know what to do with Tim at this point, plain and simple.
This whole post reads like TMI
Isn’t that a (real or fake) derpclear, literally the opposite of tmi?
I also think Vulgard has good scum equity with Jack.
I’ve barely touched Enrique and been very high on Vulgard since their sub, just like a wolf who had one slank partner in a sea of slank townies and then a ringer sub comes in. There’s even a part where I was annoyed SSFlanders got a sub before Enrique (or Nacho? Whoever was low poster at the time. Doesn’t really matter).
Like...I think you’re town AND you’re capable of making sane reads.
I just need to figure out who to get you out of insane world where you can’t see that I’m just town from, well, everything but especially my EOD yesterday. I came in with this objective. Yeet Tim if possible. If not possible, prevent the yeet of suspected townreads (Marmot, Daisy, and to a lesser extent, Kyle, Vulgard, Tony, Gavil in about that order). So you can see where I came in with iirc about an hour to go and wagons are like Marmot (4), Tim (3), Falcon (3) and I throw a big fit and ping everybody on the Marmot wagon and everybody off wagon because I want Tim dead AND I want Marmot alive. The former fits into your insane world theory but the later does not because it meant that when I couldn’t get my way, I was always going to (and did) swap to Falcon and get everyone who had followed me to Tim to follow me to Falcon. Then you can see me being genuinely frustrated pre and post deadline but preflip because I was worried that I had just read Tony and Kyle wrong because I didn’t feel like they had given my Tim case a fair shake or that they’d just messed up. That all matches the perspective of a town Jack who does not know Falcon’s alignment, not wolf Jack who does know and is on a team with Falcon.

Jack, the real question here is how, when LC can spit out a potential team and you can't really clear a single one of them, and I can spit out a potential team off the top of my head and you can't really clear a single one of them either, you "can't find a team without Tim on it."Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 10:31 pmTim not all that attached to his suspect list tho lolTimsup2nothin wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 8:05 pmSub Radishes for Vulgard and consider Vulgard a dupe...how does it look then?

And when you were blocked N3, did it say “blocked”? Is this one different than the first 2? I’m just left with more questions than answers here

It would be TMI (or how I define tmi) acting as if you don’t know all the rules and broadly talking out theories based on that ignorance. Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 5]
There's actually an answer to that if Marmot is a woof.
The votes were tied between Mogh and Marmot, yes.
The votes on Marmot were all pretty hard, yes...they were not switchable. I know, because I was trying. The votes that were off I had as most of them soft towards Marmot...like I had little hope for my Mogh wagon.
Along comes Mac with his wild spew of votes here there and everywhere...and the locks loosened up...not enough to really endanger anyone else (Gavail) but enough that when everyone went back to the main wagons gravity worked and Mogh got chopped.
In simple terms the Gavail wagon ultimately killed Mogh in Marmot's place, IMO.

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 5]
Not trying to pocket you by agreeing, but every time you bring up how this bothers you it reminds me that I missed that myself and there was a conversation about how I missed it. I know I was in that conversation, and at least two other people were as well. It was not the only conversation about it. So I do not see how someone could ISO dive multiple people and not catch that.

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 5]
So assuming my gavial isn’t angling to be lynched today (which is frankly hard to believe, but thanks for showing that there are no jesters, Daisy) what on earth is he spewing?
Jack? First of all, he put the 5th vote on falcon towards eod, which just about sealed falcon’s fate. Daisy then finished the job, if I recall. Maybe the order is messed up, but those votes don’t read teammate bus to me.
But hell, mafia’s gotten faster and has changed a bit perhaps since I last remember and maybe bussing is something you scum teams do often.
In that case, TSP is my deep wolf for mafia cred. I don’t like to think that because if he’s mafia he’s never getting lynched. That’s the breaks. I choose not to believe that.
And it makes no sense for jack or Daisy to vote that way unless falcon was like “roast me fam” in scumchat.
And another thing:
Gavial jumping on that one post I quoted from Vulgard and using that as a maxim to encompass his entire read of Vulgard? Baffles me. It’s like hearing a dude sniffle in a traincar and you wanting to move cars because you’re convinced the man has viral, transmissible cancer.
Convince me you don’t want to be lynched today.
Explain your reads. Don’t just put your hands up and babble names

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 5]
Like my sense, based on who has flipped and the general feel of the game, is that the mafia have not been working to some grand plan. They've been acting as disparate individuals.
I don't think there's anyone more adrift from the game than...well, Monkey. High wolf equity there. But among more active players, also LC.
With Nacho gone, my immediate PoE is Tim/LC/Monkey. Maybe Marmot still, tbh. But I wouldn't worry about which person I'm mis-clearing until I shoot into that pool a couple times first.

Tim and I have been in a spat over biscuits. He took the biscuits and he isn’t giving them back.
Marmot is still a giant question mark and will be until endgame or someone kills him.
Gavial suspects jack and Daisy and Vulgard and you and the queen of England and Mrs Potts and George jetson and jack
That’s the banner headlines from my mind

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 5]
Follow up: Kyle also feels disconnected, but both Mac and Falc follow a pattern in their isos: in the early game, they interact with a *lot* of now-confirmed town, and they both do the same with Kyle at that time of the game too. I kind of doubt they ignore all their scum partners like that except one specific one. So Kyle is probably also town.Master Radishes wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 1:08 am Like my sense, based on who has flipped and the general feel of the game, is that the mafia have not been working to some grand plan. With Nacho gone, my immediate PoE is Tim/LC/Monkey. Maybe Marmot still, tbh. But I wouldn't worry about which person I'm mis-clearing until I shoot into that pool a couple times first.

It’s a hard one to prove because nothing LC has done has seemed scummy on the surface. I’ve read him as town most of the game.
But my POE Is getting smaller.
I promised Tim I’d continue looking into you and Vulgard because I put you into my town list based on your entrance and tone. But I need to be a better town than that

You left out that there is a pretty sketchy hole in Vulgard's knowledge for someone who claims to have ISOed everyone under the sun once or twice. I might be talking myself into Vulgard wolf, Radishes town.Scotty wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 1:11 amLet’s see..what else.Master Radishes wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 1:04 am If there are any developments since Day start gimme the headlines.
Tim and I have been in a spat over biscuits. He took the biscuits and he isn’t giving them back.
Marmot is still a giant question mark and will be until endgame or someone kills him.

Granted, I did catch falcon on d3 forgetting made was green checked (or maybe it was syn? Don’t remember) and jack also seemed to forget that. I think jack is town, so I know it can happen

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 5]
For the general reason posted above ^ that LC feels like he's going through the motions a bit and that fits the scum mentality I'm sensing.
He doesn't really have anything I've seen that I can point to and say 'that's town'. Even his 'fake red check' was...pretty bleh, tbh. Like he barely held onto it and then basically didn't follow up on it at all. It seemed to serve no purpose other than to make himself look a bit solvy.
I'll give his iso a read at some point, but that's a name I've sort of had in the back of my mind all game that I've yet to be able to clear for myself.

Re: The Elder Scrolls [DAY 5]
I missed it, and I am town...but I didn't come into the game late and claim to have ISOed a bunch of people who had talked about it either. That's a different issue.Scotty wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 1:18 amWow you and gavial are really clinging to that.Timsup2nothin wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 1:14 amYou left out that there is a pretty sketchy hole in Vulgard's knowledge for someone who claims to have ISOed everyone under the sun once or twice. Scotty wrote: ↑Mon May 24, 2021 1:04 am So assuming my gavial isn’t angling to be lynched today (which is frankly hard to believe, but thanks for showing that there are no jesters, Daisy) what on earth is he spewing?
I don’t want to be lynched today because I’m town.
I also still have a watcher shot.
Not sure how it baffles you when I had the right to be concerned of Vulgard.
