Um.

Exactly?

That's pretty standard, isn't it? Why Nights are usually so quiet?
Some people call it a Dawn Post, MM, getting your thoughts out there in case you die, but late enough in the night that it is unlikley that the baddies switch to you. This kid is a natural, I swear. Comes up with the dawn post all on his own.

@Made: Go on...

Also, your "no u" accusation is apples and oranges. I have been mostly commenting on others' cases, yes, to confirm agreement with them; and I feel that I offer my own perspective as to why I share those pings. My point on Enrique was that he was middling and deflecting from cases being built. I like to night hide, so I'll offer some thoughts on the posts I read when I have time tonight.

Regardless, I'm placing my vote on him again, as I do believe his waffling from defending you to condemning you is calculated on his part.

But hey, if you continue to offer such damning evidence, maybe I'll switch my vote to me!

Linki: Maybe I'm misrememberng, but I thought Made hated the idea of night hiding in Misfits? If I'm thinking of someone else, please correct me.

It definitely happens. People throw out all their thoughts at the last minute just in case they've been NKed. I don't think Made was in much danger of that though.

Dennis, lots of us love our OT. It's a game, we're here to have fun. You obviously never played at hedville, where the Mods threatened to flay you if you had too many srs posts.

Also, awesome that the baddies seem to be killing their competition, not us :D

Canuck will moderate?

And just for shits and giggles I read AP. Here are the posts i could find from him on Made (he was the top accused, which is why though he is not mentioned I relate this to him):
A Person wrote:I still say using the chat as evidence is a bad idea, we only have secondhand accounts, and I don't trust Made or Llama. We also have no way of knowing whether or not having BTSC means you are a baddie in this game, because we don't know of there is anyone else who has it. Stories are going to change because people are drawing from memory, and everyone knows that memories are rewritten when recalled, they are just going to keep changing every time they post their accounts.
A Person wrote:
Mongoose wrote:Aww Matty, don't be scared of the volume. Come back, Matty! You can distill all these posts down fairly easy with some strategic scanning.
i have looked at a little and honestly I think the accusers seem more suspicious than the accused, but we have even less to go on than normal for day 1, so i don't know really.
A Person wrote:
Made wrote:Hey, Before we even have the ability to lynch people and we're still all friends, I want to put a idea out there. It's probably safe to assume they're more civvies out there than baddies, and day one lynches without really good leads can end up being crap shoots, with the odds not in civvie favor. I think we should go for a no lynch on day one.

Thoughts?
someone like TheLlama would probably vote for you just to prove a point.
So in one post he says he suspects Made somewhat, but the others are more ambiguous. Don't know what, if anything that means, but AP was an easy read.

She's quiet but got really loud for the first time last night. She seems to know what's going on(Famous last words?-I mean this like she literally understand most arguments against people), plus her in a room with a bunch of quiet type people sounds amazing.

The main thing that gives me pause about you, tbh, is that I think almost any baddie team would have thrown you under the bus by now, and hard. So I dunno.

In my minds eye, you have giant neon "BTSC" signs all around you, with big flashing arrows. But people are defending you more than they are turning on you, so i don't know. If I don't see, or develop, any other cases that appeal to me, I might vote you again. But there is more than one baddie, at least, that would be my presumption.

And yes, Canuck is awesome. A force of nature in some ways, not unlike yourself.

I take your attempt to call out 5 quieter people a ploy to get suspicion off you, but nice try. I've been feeling uneasy ever since Day 1 Llama talked about the chat thing and seeing how you've interacted with players. You're demeanor and such this game is much different than in when I just played a game with you for your first, so drastic it's creeping me out. So, I feel your behavior is making me think you're bad. Sorry if I'm wrong, but it don't think I am.

Because it's you, and I genuinely want others to talk I'll explain this.
If i were civvie(which i am), wouldn't i also want to get suspicion of off me and not die? What i am doing is increasing the pool of people to draw suspicion from. I'm also trying to get more civvies into this game. Just doing that doesn't shake off any suspicion of me, but give us more people to compare my "Badness" to. No harm in that right?

You rang? Checking in ;) (And checking out within the hour. Damn waking up early.)

Epi can't seem to stay alive for long, but at least we have no killer rabbit to worry about anymore! Also, a belated RIP to AP. Rather shocking, that.

In other news, I'm inclined to vote Made again today, unless something crazy happens (yes, I'm Missus Repeato, but whatever, y'all always beat me to it :evileye: ). I can see where people are coming from with the whole "Well huh, Made might be a Civ BECAUSE the lynch was switched," but I agree with the notion that a Civ wouldn't turn a lynch onto someone with no suspicion on them. There could be some crazy shit happening behind the scenes, but I prefer the simplest route to solving a problem, and speculating on what I have no idea about versus what I can see...well, you get the picture. I hope.

Also, a lot of sudden (or what seems sudden) support for Made, based on the last lynch. I find that rather odd, given, y'know, the non-support of the previous day.

I would like a brownie now. I am going to eat a brownie and you can't stop me. It's been one of those days :sigh:

Canuck, why are you so convinced that this mystery theory of yours is correct instead of the much more straightforward switch?

Hahaha sorry for boiling it down like that, Canuck. I know that's not what you specifically are going for (as you did mention multiple times that you weren't throwing out the idea that Made is bad, etc. etc.), but it seems the part I mentioned is what people are latching onto. It seems rather more complicated than necessary, is what I was saying. Don't beat your head anymore!

RIP A Person. I've seen plenty of Civvie roles that can switch a lynch, and probably ones that can reflect a lynch once or something, so I don't find the situation to be instantly incriminating to Made. However, the way he has been acting since then is a bit sketchy, as several people have pointed out. I'm gonna have to say that Made will likely get my vote. It doesn't look like he'll need it to get lynched anyway, but there you go.

We haven't gotten Concorde's role revealed yet. :|
I tried to allude to that earlier - that given the game source - I can see ONE scenario where a switch wasn't what went down.

I'm wondering if we won't see Concorde's role revealed for that very reason.

I still wait to see if I could be wrong about that.
Exactly.

All I will say is, read those quotes between bea and LC and hopefully it will click. For those of you who aren't seeing it that is.

I still think Made is likely bad, but there you go.

I would think a civ taking heat would switch a lynch to someone they'd been openly suspicious of though. Probably someone they and maybe others thought was bad anyway. AP is not such a person. If anything it looks like the lynch was switched at random without a care for who died instead - which suggests baddie to me.
This ^^ so much. Civ switchers don't switch it to random people.

Since the subtle video thing Canuck did was not so subtle (and since she was not punished for it, which I think she would have been had she been correct)~

Ninjajujube, the implication is that perhaps Made has a civ BTS role. Since the baddies would have to be on crack to kill Made, i don't think this is a real target painting per se. Canuck is frustrated with you for your belief that Made could be bad in light of her theory that he is not. A Person, the dead Concorde, does not seem to have particularly trusted him, so there is that.

Linki~ Canuck, that whole "beating the head into the wall" implies that people are stupid to me, so perhaps the sight of it, regardless of context, gets my whole "protect the oppressed" thing all grrrr and sassy. Apologies.

Well, as I've said a lot of time, I'm not convinced it's correct...I'm convinced it's possible. I personally happen to be leaning towards it being correct, but I think convinced is a stretch.
Anywho, semantics aside, I think it's likeypossiblemaybetrue because after bea/LC's posts, I googled Concorde, and the results I got led me to see that it's a character that would lend itself very well to a certain sort of in-game relationship, and I personally think there's nothing less straightforward about that than a simple baddie switch, and that a baddie actively switching to virtual no-show AP is just as off the wall as a civvie doing so.
Does that make sense? (You don't have to agree, and I'm sure you won't, but I do want to at least not be talking total nonsense... :lorab: )

SVS: this is not the kind of role I was implying, and that is not what I was objecting to in ninjube's post. The whole fear of the host/no speculating thing is making it very hard for me to clarify, so I understand why people aren't getting what I'm saying (because I'm not really able to say what I want to say), so the headwall beating was more OMFG I JUST WANT TO SPEAK PLAINLY SO PEOPLE STOP MISUNDERSTANDING MY GOOFY CRYPTICNESS and less YOU ARE A STUPID NUBFACE
