Re: Traitors for Exile
I'm still confused about the setup. Is it nightless?

Re: Traitors for Exile
The alternative to this is picking 2-3 people with a maximum of one wolf between them and exiling each twice.
If two people are picked then the cop is exiled twice to make up for it.
That would also get us to where we need to be.
I think both of these above solutions are better than betting the game on a single player of just keeping the cop in exile.
Anybody got strong opinions on this?

Nightless but we vote a player to exile for the next Day.

Re: Traitors for Exile
(And if we pick wrong on the night vote three times we lose).
We have a confirmed cop but I'm assuming they can't use their action if exiled so looking for the lowest risk alternatives to just exiling the cop every phase.

Re: Traitors for Exile
I’m gonna go agead and say i’m prob not voting Mac today cause cop, and Wiml cause his mech strategy seems to come from a town mindset, could he fake it idk maybe? Never played with him so giving the benefit of doubt here

Re: Traitors for Exile
Not sure if cop should claim now. I'm afraid there should have a drawback for cop claiming this early.

Re: Traitors for Exile
Seems weird but if we're in a setup where it is pretty much optimal for the cop to claim immediately then I don't see why not (it would prevent a player who is less experienced or a lurker from playing suboptimally if they randed the role and causing town to perform worse as a result).MissSparkles wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 10:25 am So do we believe the host would force the cop to claim yay or nay?
I'm happy to just believe that Mac is the cop and telling the truth about whatever unless he gets counterclaimed.

I mean the drawback seems like it makes it easier for the framer/lawyer to guess the cops target.

Probably too risky and them not knowing each other will be an advantage for them for now. They might try to find each other through reads though.

Wiml wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 9:37 am I think with the exile vote isn't it better to not vote the same people twice while it's avoidable to do so?
That way it's betting on making no more than 3 mistakes in the upper half of the player list (which seems fair) compared to betting the entire game on a specific player being town (which I think is easier to fake because of a lack of TMI).
Not sure if this is the better mech play.
I disagre. One of our win conditions is to send three traitors to Exile over the course of the game, and with the limited knowledge that traitors have of each other, yeeting based on interactions will be difficult.

It seems like more of a timeout, and also an alternate win con than anything, and it's one we can utilize.

Re: Traitors for Exile
We have a heavy reliance on the cop this game I think (thankfully there's a backup, on the off chance that there's a cc), which means that them claiming might not be in our best interest yet, because it'll give the Anti-Cop more info into who they should frame.
That said, claiming early would prevent cc wars from going down.

Marmy just throwing a vote for the sake of it makes me feel decent about him, trying to get things going is a good sign, i think he would just hide behind mech talk and/or try manipulating the current strategy we have in place.
Just small town feels. Not enough to join my town inner circle (super exclusive by the by) but definitely enough for a slight town lean.

I've only played with cat once, we were teammates in GoC, and he was yeeted Day 1. That said, his entrance into that game had a little more assurance in it then this one, so though I dislike the post, I'm willing to let him say more things here in the event that he just feigns more confidence as mafia.
