Bird Mafia [TOWN VICTORY]

This is a closed setup.

There are 17 players.

Phase length is 48/24.

This game is not bastard. There are no elements that lie to the players. There is no godfather, miller, insanifying, or alignment shifting.

There is no daily post limit.

There is no majority vote. Phases are full length. (This may change in the endgame, but only with everyone's consent.)

Ties are determined by rand.

There is no town night chat. There is a one-hour twilight chat after the flip.

Start and end times are at 3:00 PM PDT, with twilight chat going for a full hour after the flip. Thread is locked between EOD and flip for host convenience.

Angleshooting: Do not quote the host's private communications. Do not use Outside Game Information to inform your interactions with other players. This is less letter of the law and more sentiment and feel. If I think you're trying to skirt the rules to break the game, I will modkill without hesitation.

Appeals to emotion: Permitted, unless you are saying that the game is causing tangible harm to your life. If you say this, I will seek a replacement for you.

Roleclaiming: Permitted.

Flavour claiming: Permitted. Characters are independent of alignment.

Victory conditions: Wolves require parity with town at day start. Town requires the elimination of all wolves.

ADDENDUM: Unless you were explicitly given BTSC (behind-the-scenes chat) by the host, you are limited to posting in this thread. No outside communication.

DAY 1

The crowing of the flocks of birds is relentless.

What was once a quiet sea bluff is now teeming with various species of bird. None know why they're there, only that they were called by an almost preternatural instinct deep inside to travel to this destination.

They try to leave, and find themselves return.

They try to sleep the dream away, but find themselves awake.

The birds are here to stay. But for what reason?

Far away on an overlooking bluff, a dodo studies the collection with an appraising gaze. She knows a selection of the birds below are up to no good.

She won't intervene. After all, it's the dodo's turn to laugh.

DAY 1 has begun. You have 48 hours to eliminate one of your fellow birds. There is no hammer. The chop is determined by plurality, not majority.

As I’m new to this server I thought it would only be fair to give you some info about me.

I play at CFC on MU as Wurzel Scummidge. I only started playing this year and this is my 7th game.

Of the other players in the game, this is my 6th game with WIML, 5th with Esooa and Nanook and 3rd with Alison and Dolby

Also just to let you know about my day 1 meta:

1st half of D1 – be a bit jokey and RVS
Mid D1 – start speculating about the set up. Initial thoughts (NOT reads)
About 3-4 hours before EOD – provide proper list of reads. Make serious vote

Please shout if any questions. Also I am based in the UK so off to bed soon.
