You are looking at the wrong point. The thing to get from Alison's ISO is "who was she gonna kill today?" Alison is a death tunneler, with persistence and a ton of influence, particularly on this site. So wolfing against her the simple wolves just fear kill her, but the smart wolves identify who she is gonna kill next and as long as that isn't one of them they just leave her to it.

They killed her.

So either they are simple, or she was gonna tunnel a wolf into the ground today and they knew they wouldn't be able to stop her.
