@BF: I also noticed what seemed like a subtle attempt to direct attention away from BWT in Russtifinko's post when doing my massive catch-up yesterday but forgot to mention it yesterday. And since Russ was NKed by the Horde and BWT was on the Horde I don't really see how they could have been teammates...unless somehow they didn't mean to kill Russ and there target was switched but I don't recall if that is something that's even possible in this game.

In searching through the He-Man forums, it seems Zodac has a viewscreen - so I am thinking that this poll is most likely related to gaining info/revealing secrets for sure.

I also noticed on the He-Man Wiki that Zodak's homeworld is listed as Eternia. I collected some of the highlights from both the regular Wikipedia and the He-Man Wiki... and it does all seem to indicate that Zodak was "neutral" with a leaning towards good rather than evil.

Interesting about the viewscreen, LT. I was planning not to overthink future night polls, but looks like I can't stop overthinking them just yet.

Nice theory about Russ, BF, but I was largely reading him as civvie too and had the same thoughts... then he died. Lol. It could be that the NK target was re-directed, but that's all speculation, and would be a good thing if Russ was bad. I'm thinking my gut was probably right though and he was civvie. Have you found anything else in any of BWT's posts yet? I'm planning on checking them more thoroughly but I'm currently at work so I'm multitasking and haven't had a chance yet.

I agree that the viewscreen idea seems to make sense, so under that theory we would want one of the baddie teams, correct? I also was thinking that maybe Zodac is unaligned and this poll determines his alignment with a team; what do people think about that? Of course for that, we'd want the exact opposite, so I don't feel any better about the poll.

There's the obvious list of ppl he posted before he died to try and defend himself, as a baddie if I know I'm going down and try something like that its too wifom to list your teammates but also too wifom to distance so I'd probably choose some of both. I bet probably one of them is on his team but that's just a hunch

Right, so honestly I can see going either way with this. Another idea I had is that maybe the poll is to see who receives certain information, rather than whose info will be revealed, in which case we want to not choose one of the mafia teams... I mean seriously, thinking about this too much is a bad thing, imo. lol It only makes me feel more doubtful which way the poll should go.

I'm considering just going with my initial, knee-jerk reaction to the poll and just voting Eternia.

Ok, just when I turned the computer off, I had another idea.

What if we choose the Etherians? That way, if it's something good like alignment, info revealed, etc. - it happens to civs. If it's something not quite so good (like their secrets revealed) - it only happens to a very small group of civs.

I know this might sound a little whacky, but I thought it was worth considering because I'm not sure how comfy I feel voting for one of the mafia teams - even the smaller of the 2.

I agree with voting one of the civ choices. Voting the baddie team just sorta feels wrong.

My belief is that this poll will reveal information, therefore, I think we should pick one of the baddie teams.

I'm leaning for a baddie team as well, since info on the good guys will simply paint targets on our heads for night kills. Of the two baddie teams, I think it makes sense to pick the smaller of the two.

Okay, I agree most with the logic about the viewscreen and Snake Mountain, so that's where my vote is going. That being said, I am nervous; I do hope this doesn't mean something about Zodac's alignment or a benefit to them either.

Okay, sounds good. I'd like to check into it myself but I am busy with Spacedaisy after I get off work for today and then tomorrow I have a concert/trip with my brother and dad so I won't be back until Thursday at work. If someone else hasn't looked into it already by then, I will do so.

I was thinking of that post too. It's hard to say because any or all of those names could be actually someone on his team or BS, but I think you're right here. That being said, I can't remember off the top of my head everyone who was on that list and I'd prefer to re-read those people to see if we can find suspicious behavior. I'm sure we can, but I don't think we should lynch anyone just based off of BWT's thoughts since it's all speculative.

I'm not at all sure where ya'll are getting that the choice we make will have info revealed about that choice. I don't see any real evidence on either side of the coin. It seems like I could flip a coin to vote. Is there any direct evidence that I just don't see?

Sorry for the double post but i meant to point out that I see dom hanging around a lot. Suppose he's silenced? I've also been wondering about Aces - said he was going to have a busy weekend but we still haven't seen him. Maybe he went on a trip with rabbit (joke for people in the other game). Or maybe he's the one who's silenced. Seems like a fair share of people not saying anything (is the untamed being replaced again?).

This poll seems really WIFOMish to me. It could very well be info on baddies, but I don't see that as certain at all. It could be the winning group gets a prize, or it could be something none of us have thought of yet. I'm undecided for now.

Also, even though he's dead anyway, I wasn't really seeing the connection between Russ and BWT.

I mentioned earlier that I did not see where people were getting the idea that info about the choice we voted would be given to us. LT, I know you seemed pretty sure. And someone else mentioned the way the post read. Well, I've re-read the post and the posts everybody has made since and I still don't see anything that indicates we should vote Snake Mountain. What am I missing? LT, what do you see that I don't? And to whoever said they're relying on the way the post reads, what exactly are you looking at? People I think are civv are voting that option but I'd like to understand why before voting.

Yes, I did read the info you had earlier, what I didn't get is because he is the overseer it would make sense that those view screens are like portals for him to view each of the different groups, thus we would gain information by looking in the one we vote for. Well apparently Zodak appears in 3 episodes from Season 1 - "Quest for He-Man", "The Search" and "Golden Disks of Knowledge". So I'm thinking I'll watch them a bit later on Hulu and see what these fancy viewscreens do. If anything seems to make sense, I'll post about it - but I feel like most folks have already voted, so not sure what good it will do (other than hopefully making me feel better about my vote).
